Grumpy, you are wasting your breath talking about ethical with TU and Transfer U, the only thing they ask is can you get away with it. And with the incompetent NCAA in charge it works very well for them.

And Brown, the #1 RB recruit in the nation is the one that when he went on his official said he didn't want to see any of the facilities or talk to any of the coaches, he just wanted to "hang out" with his recruiter for the weekend. AND he did. AND he signed with the Vols, just dropped out early because he said he "didn't fit in with that group", which means he probably did have some morals since that is about the time the thugs kicked the two men into the hospital. Where the EIGHT football players kicked TWO individuals WHILE DOWN and NONE of them were even given a parking ticket.

Hence TU (Thug U) is my name for them from now on, there has to be some small penalty for such disgraceful events to be tolerated in order to "just win baby".

How did I spin it? All I did was give you the facts and ask if that means anything to you. I'm not denying what happened or trying to say Kiffin wasn't involved but why are we going back 3 coaches ago and 6 years to bad mouth UT?

Its a spin because I know one of the girls wasn't from the Carolinas so according to you she was the one dating the kid, The fact is she was dating whoever Kiffin told her to date that weekend. She was a well known "guide" for kids visiting UT, so much so that the kid from Kansas, a RB named Brown, asked for her specifically on his visit. Now she may have been the kid from Carolina's "guide" when he visited, but to say they were dating is spinning it. I don't know the other girl's name but it isn't likely that the entire group went to that HS, but I guess it is a possibility, funny they had no prior relationship to him though and the NCAA wasn't aware of that, it would have cleared the entire mess up in 5 min. They just went home to visit mama and daddy.

I'd be careful tossing ethics and "Just win baby" around.

Doesn't UK recruit BB players KNOWING that they will only be on campus 1 or 2 semesters and their sole purpose is to "just win" basketball games? There is no intent whatsoever to graduate.

It also goes to players moving on from the program who aren't gifted enough to stick around.

Its an old practice, but it is usually confined to the college campus, every SEC school isn't sending them to HS games.

Well I don't defend Lane Kiffin. There's nothing he could do that would surprise me.

It never hurts to have a few pretty girls around, but most schools don't include sex with the girls. Of course that probably isn't as bad as UL's chief recruiter hurtt was involved in at the U, where they rented hotel rooms and staffed them with paid prostitutes. Have you seen the Texas A&M girls' twitter page? It was basically a softcore porn site. I haven't checked it out lately, but they were basically wearing nothing. I'm pretty sure it was Oklahoma State that got into some trouble with their girls. Oregon added their "hostess" program about the same time they started improving. The idea of having pretty girls around originated with the Bear at either Kentucky or Texas A&M and once he got to Alabama it was copied by other programs in the SEC and then all around the country. Interesting to think of the kind of legacy a former UK football coach had on college football.
