He's been pretty accurate today when given time. Red zone play calling has been bad all year.
One read qb. If not open, it's a sack.
He's also not healthy. If he could scramble with no reservations it would be different. A one read QB without mobility, this line and no run game? He's toast.
Been saying the same thing all season. It's a shame but he's his own worst enemy ... just not the complete package at this point. Maybe the NFL will teach him something because he doesn't seem to learning much with this staff.

Whoever burns the 1st rounder on him better have their resume up to date. He may have all the tools, but he doesn’t use them well. He can definitely throw it and put it in some tight spots but something is missing. Don’t think he is a franchise type QB.

Tennessee's Joe Milton played a total of 9 plays and passed for more yardage than Levis the whole game against the conference doormat.
Stoops has never been good at having a reliable game-ready backup QB to step in. How many games (today included) has UK lost to the backup QB over the years.

Isn’t it obvious? Milton threw two passes that went for a combined 120 yards. Because UT’s offense is better and is designed to create wide open WRs down the field.

Thought he had Dane Key for the fade in the end zone but he opted to check it down to Kattus well short of the sticks. Result would have been the same if Dane doesn’t come up with it but Dane had leverage it looked like from the camera angle.

Just saw a play where ole miss got to bryce young straight up the gut. He recognized it and got rid of the ball. Avoided the sack and ensured the field goal. Either that is football intelligence, coaching, or both.

Some guys don’t function well under constant pressure. Derek Carr, Mitchell Trubinsky are a couple guys that can get rushed in to bad decisions, Jimmy G is another. Some guys stay calm, not necessarily make the play but they stay calm enough to still make good decisions. I’m not sure if you can break giys of that or not. My guess would be that it takes a sports physiologist rather than a coach.
The irony was the one check down he threw was on the last drive where we couldn't afford to check down. Just mid boggling.
It's definitely effecting him for sure. That said you're spot on in that his issues aren't physical. When his read is open noone delivers the ball better.
Problem is he can never presnap diagnose blitz and he makes slow or poor reads. He missed several red zone opps today. Even that last play he had single coming open down the seam and just threw more or less a hail Mary.
Watch all of our replays and look at how many open receivers he does not see.
You do see them. That's why I am not sure changing OCs is the right move.
This is it in a nutshell.
Will is REALLY BAD at pre-snap diagnosis AND recognition of the defense. However, can't blame it all on him, his OC is also HORRIBLE at those same things!!! Add those to the TERRIBLE scheme that makes defending our offense SIMPLE AND EASY with a mediocre O-Line and you get this CRAPPY product!!
