He redshirted in an interview it didn’t sound like he was stayingI thought he was trying to get a medical exemption
I suppose he might be concerned about playing time due to level of talent we might have.He isnt coming back.
I wonder if he could have back this season but chose not to due to getting another year.
He was still pretty banged up and on crutches in February I believe. Just no way he was getting back this season. He isnt coming back.

He will not be back.I think he'll probably be back.
When I first saw that interview and he said, "Right now I'm just focused on this year. Not thinking at all about next year," I thought with most of you that those are NOT the words a guy says who's coming back next year.
But after having a week or so to think about it, I realize I had probably not properly considered that he's either in the middle of NIL negotiations with Pope and staff right now or he's about to be in them. In that context, you just can't do anything to tip your hand or it seriously weakens your negotiating power. So with that figured in, I don't think I've actually seen anything that really indicates he won't return.
He started with a great relationship with Pope, has got on well with the players, and will almost certainly not have any alternative options that are nearly as high profile as Kentucky. So with all that I suspect it's probably a lot more likely he really will come back than that he won't, even despite what we all thought we saw in that little courtside interview.
You don't generally talk smack but what is this based on?He will not be back.
Yeah that would be a pretty crappy move saying he's not coming back when the season isn't over yet.I think he'll probably be back.

Yes and if he said he was coming back it weakens his bargaining position for NIL negotiationsYeah that would be a pretty crappy move saying he's not coming back when the season isn't over yet.
My guess is he wants serious PT. He could go somewhere and play 30 min a game. He would be a 10-15 guy at most for us next year.
He’s gone man. He’s definitely NOT a player we need back. I think it’s a red flag when a guy transfers multiple times unless there were circumstances out of their control ie coaching change. No one will pony up nil money he will want. You don't generally talk smack but what is this based on?
I’m sure if he leaves it’s because of the depth coming in not because he’s told to transfer. He does have a positive vibe on the bench but he would be PG3 in his final year of eligibilityHe's a spark to the team energy, and I think he needs to be brought back for that alone. I also feel if he focused on improving his defense, that would be incredible. He's the kind of player opponents don't want in their faces.
Dude, you can't make a 6 foot slow white guy into Michael Jordan. All the Bama/Auburn players would love having him in their faces so they can use their quicks and their hops to eat him for lunch. Maybe he can come back on a cheerleading scholarship. He's a spark to the team energy, and I think he needs to be brought back for that alone. That 6 foot slow white guy was really good as a Fr at Arizona and was a good player at WVU. Not everybody we bring in will be an A-A. Next year we go to 15 scholarships and Pope is nuts if he doesn't use all of them after the season of injuries that we had.Dude, you can't make a 6 foot slow white guy into Michael Jordan. People I trust. Kerr returning would complicate things. He’s not the guy you want for your starting point guard. Even if he was it would be a gamble with the nature of his injury. I believe Kerr will want minutes and with Lewis and “hopefully “ a nice portal pg. I don’t see enough minutes. You don't generally talk smack but what is this based on?
What incoming talent?I suppose he might be concerned about playing time due to level of talent we might have.
Things leak out and what I told you comes directly from a former player who is a former teamate of mark pope“Okay”
And you continue your piss poor posts. He may be looking for a ring
Tell your friend he's being ridiculous. The only part of that that wasn't touchy-feely was the part about him transferring multiple times before he got here and.....let me go out on a limb and take a wild guess that Pope and staff already knew that.Things leak out and what I told you comes directly from a former player who is a former teamate of mark pope
Very cool but that doesn't add up to "He will not be back."People I trust. Kerr returning would complicate things. He’s not the guy you want for your starting point guard. I think there was some smoke about that earlier (and Pope's comments about him not healing as quickly as originally thought may be an oblique reference to that). He isnt coming back.

That is fair . I could have worded it better. Should have said something like “the tea leaves say he won’t be back “ . Or at least put an “imo” after it. I didn’t think anyone would take it as though I knew for sure .Very cool but that doesn't add up to "He will not be back."
It's your guess and it may very well be a reasonable guess. But if you trust it enough to let it stand on its own as your guess you should do that. It's weak bullshit as a direct response to what I wrote originally.
When put that way I respect it a lot more because you always pay attention and go real hard after insights like this. That is fair . I could have worded it better.
