Is it too early...

Would a loss at home to UF be worse than a road loss to UCLA? IOW, how far would they drop?. Honestly don't think Sparty is as good as their record. Thought Self shit the bed against them more than MSU won it.

I would think so

I don't know. Florida is better than UCLA but with it being a home game I'd say so.

That loss from UNC to Texas is pretty much equal to our loss against UCLA tho

Completely agree! Be interesting to see how far UNC falls.

Pretty much everything went MSU's way the last 5 or 6 mins. For UF to even make it that close is surprising.

Nice try by Florida, but 4 of 18 from three and 10 of 18 from the line won't get it done on the road against a good team.

Michigan State has now pulled 2 games out of the fire against mediocre teams at home. Draw your own conclusions from that.

Total bed shit. Our roster should have easily handled them and self was too busy teaching playing time lessons. I think UK and KU can both easily handle the Spartans.

They're better than I thought though.

I'll be interested in seeing what level Mike White keeps them at. He did a nice job keeping the 2015 recruiting class Billy Donovan brought in for the most part other than Noah Dickerson, who decided to go to Washington. Talent is solid, but they're a pretty young team. Other than Finney-Smith, their best players are mostly freshmen/sophomores.

They looked pretty solid for what they are given the fact that it was a road game @ the #1 team's place.

Yes they did. If only they could have done a better job on the defensive glass (MSU had 16 offensive boards) or knocked down a few more shots because at times, they were outhustling a Tom Izzo coached team and that doesn't happen very often.

I'm not sure if I should be more impressed with UL and FL almost winning at MSU, or if that is more of a the Spartans are not really that super talented other than Valentine type deal and can lose to anyone anytime. I think it is more of the latter.

I think you're right, when UL played them tight I thought it was because UL's guards were REALLY good but after tonight I'm starting to think MSU is more of a 1 man show with a bunch of other dudes that play hard.
