He has a pretty good chance to lead the team in total assists for the year. Butler 107 Williams 106

I'm pretty sure we've never had a center lead the team and I'm doubtful we've even had a forward lead us in total assists for the season.

Yes, I understand he leads us in turnovers too. lol And Butler has missed games. But, an answer to a trivia question in the future if it happens.

OK....has the chance to be UK's first 7 footer to lead the team in assists. for the season. :) If someone knows Lamont better be telling him to bring the dimes the next ??? games.

Thanks for the link. Noticed in the 92 year that Woods had 167. That was a good year.

Having Amari up at the perimeter to pass the ball is okay, but what happened to allowing the post player be a post player?

Rarely does he post up and make a move....

I think he gets more touches on the perimeter and thus gains those assists.

Why he needs assists though...I do not know.

When Amari gets the ball on the block, he does that quick turn and throws the ball toward the rim without even looking at it, like he's just trying not to get blocked or, God forbid, touched. I prefer him at the top of the key passing the ball.
