Make that Jimmy Carter. Reagan was elected in Nov. of 1980 and entered into office in January of 1981.

Unfortunately, you are forgetting the travesty of 1986, when the NCAA graciously made us play, not one, but two teams for a fifth time on the way to a loss in the Elite 8. But for that, Kentucky would have had a real shot at having that banner.
