In the spirit of Halloween and basketball is anyone afraid of clowns...

I think my fear of clowns came from childhood and seeing John Wayne Gacy as a clown. Also, Red Skelton always disturbed me.
The clown in “It” was pretty scary. I never was afraid of clowns though. Just wanted to punch their faces . Got thrown out of a McDonald’s when I was 15 for doing it . Who knew there was a law against that ?

I hate clowns, for two reasons:

1 - John Wayne Gacey (remember seeing that demented shit on TV as a kid

2. Poltergeist - damn stuffed clown messed me up. Couldn’t sleep for a month after that

Yep Poltergeist did it for me. For some reason my parents let me watch that when I was like 5 or 6 years old.
I was 7. Messed me up. I sometimes wonder why I was watching horror movies at such an early age? Why did my parents allow that? Then I see kids now and am so relieved I was raised in the 80’s. My kids would have never survived my childhood.

80’s childhoods were the best, i watched all the horror classics as a kid. I remember seeing Nightmare on Elm Street 5 in theaters.

I was like 8 or 9 when it came out. Prime time bike riding years.
One of my best friends dads let us watch IT when we had a sleepover one weekend. In the morning when he went to get us breakfast he tied balloons to all the drains in the neighborhood so when we went outside to ride our bikes we would freak out.
