I endeavored to determine to what extent my wardrobe, superstitions, and rituals might have on sporting outcomes of my favorite teams. For instance, in the past, when a close game was winding down, I'd get out of my comfy chair, and pace in front of the TV. This seemed to often be detrimental to win/loss ratios, so I stopped it. I started tracking event outcomes based on what team gear I was wearing. I had bought an Ohio State football sweatshirt, and become convinced it won them a championship. (football only, don't start with me)
So I started alternating my gear each game. I might wear a hat, t-shirt, and my UK shoes during a game. Or i might wear just one item, and rotate thru them game to game. I also tried watching without gear, and with other sports teams gear. Like wearing a Red's hat while watching a Kentucky game.
So, after reviewing the data, which I won't bore you with. I have concluded that what I do, or wear, has almost nothing to do with eventual outcomes.
(next, because there are 5 TV's in my house, I will rotate between them)
