Entertaining half. I wish they would spread more Saturday games to Sunday. I can't watch 'em all.
Boswell is the best player Michigan state has in this game.
For those that don't know, Boswell is Illinois' pg. Dude plays me-ball and is directoy responsible for every run MSU went on.
It's funny, they said this is MSU's 3rd game against a ranked team, they are counting North Carolina as a ranked team.
MSU has been hiding behind a crazy weak schedule. They finally play a ranked team in conference play and of course, it's at home.

The 2 foul calls on Illinois' best player were an absolute joke.
The MSU guard stepped on his foot and fell, then he and an MSU player fell to the floor and somehow it's a foul on the Illinois guy.
That is some serious home cooking there. I know MSU has already racked up 5, but those 2 fouls on Illinois are making their best player sit for basically the entire 2nd half.

I know Pope had to clean house but wish their was a way he could have keep Coach O pretty sure if he had we end up with Riley which may or may not have been the missing piece to a deep run if not #9
According to Kenpom, MSU has played a harder schedule than Tennessee and Florida.
but yes, MSUs schedule ended up being back loaded. Michigan twice, Illinois twice, Oregon, Purdue and Wisconsin all fell in the middle to later part of the conference schedule.
Yup and look at Tennessee now, they just lost at Vanderbilt and they got their stools pushed in at Florida by 30.
Now, let's look at Florida, they have 2 losses in the SEC, one of them at home to Missouri.
Shit hapoens when you actually play good teams and MSU has been hiding behind a weak schedule.
