Nonsense. The man shows sparks every now and then.
Maybe jurist maybe he’s realizing his ass is on the line a bit. He’s out of the hole I dug in the backyard but he’s still very much in the dog house.
Agree 100 percent, hopefully they build off of this moving forwardCal coached a good game tonight, and remained composed even under some tough moments. He deserves a lot of credit tonight, he and the team were both great tonight
Same here! Very impressive win and seeing Pearl losing his mind made it even better!I admit I was afraid we'd get curb-stomped so I give all the players and Cal credit for an incredible effort.
Nonsense.
He coaches now just like he has for 30+ years.
Except he’s better with experience.
Cal is the best coach in college basketball.
Thanks for making a happy thread celebrating a victory suckwell said, BBNCal02. As usual, I like your posts.
Cal will remain in my doghouse. Tonight, he simply did his JOB.
it's what he is paid to do. The unforgivable losses earlier were a DIRECT result of him NOT doing his JOB. This Kentucky has no business finding itself where it's at right now. Should have done so much better this season. I still want to see them succeed, and yes, for Cal to succeed too. But I am done with any optimistic appraisal of his coaching ability.
He's sucked the fun out of Kentucky basketball for me a long time ago.
It was a nice win. takes a little bit out of the intense dislike I've got for the man. As well as the disappointment for the team. Hard for 19, 20 year olds to make up for such a vast issue, when a better COACH could do so much more with even less.
Agree. I still think Z could have got more than 30 secs with Mitchell out.He coached a good game and had the team ready to play. If he can continue that we'll be a really tough out.
I love Z but I don't see how he gets much playing time, its just not a good fit until he gets used to contact
listen and find out. If most of you would actually listen, his comments wouldn't be misquoted after every game.I bet he did the radio show tonight
When he comes back I'd give him the backup 4/5 minutes. Thiero and Ugo have earned the starting spots, imo. But then I'm somebody who likes to start the best players. He finally played the Bennie lineup for the most part.
Ugo 36 minutes
Reeves 34 minutes
Thiero 32 minutes
Shep 30 minutes
DJ 24 minutes
Dilly 18 minutes
Edwards 18 minutes
I hate to say it but defensively be appear to be better without Tre in the lineup...
And shot 30%We played damn good defense and Auburn ran a offense.
I would where possible substitute Tre for offense and Theiro for defense, but that's presuming TM can come back and be the player he was earlier in the season. When he comes back I'd give him the backup 4/5 minutes. Thiero and Ugo have earned the starting spots, imo. But then I'm somebody who likes to start the best players.
Cal rambles too much to listen to that craplisten and find out. If most of you would actually listen, his comments wouldn't be misquoted after every game.
give it a rest hall monitorlisten and find out. If most of you would actually listen, his comments wouldn't be misquoted after every game.
John Calipari is one of the best coaches in college basketball and most likely the best coach for Kentucky at this point in time.No he isn't princess.
We just beat one of the very best of the best defensive teams on their home court. And Auburn could not stop Reeves on that baseline pick play the entire second half. Auburn stifles a lot of teams offense. How come we couldn’t run any offense?
Like Pearl did?I was just excited we didn’t fold like a cheap suit down the stretch.
So just complain about what he says, without knowing what he says. Common on here.Cal rambles too much to listen to that crap
BBBE Happy for onceSo just complain about what he says, without knowing what he says. Common on here.
You are one strange Cal groupyNonsense.

Someone else? Okay fine. As least someone coaching this team worked this week and earned this win. That’s not really true at all. We have an unreal collection of talent that needs leadership. That said, kudos to someone that got them prepared for once and tried another defense, albeit for one possession.
