Yeah I actually agreed with the stall ball tonight. Auburn couldn’t throw it in the ocean. Great win.
We didn’t have a choice except to play stall ball because we couldn’t run any offense. All we could do was play keep away and drive it one on one.

I’ll 100% agree with you and definitely extend credit to the coaching staff. A much needed win, but why cant we be that focused and prepared every game?
We should be like 22 and 3. Even with tonight's great win we are probably looking at 9 or 8 losses at best going into ncaa.
Couldn’t believe what I saw. He was into the game, called timeouts at the right time, and was excellent with subs.
Best of all, he showed us defense. We have the offense all day long - just throw in that defense and we will be TOUGH.
Was this our turning point? We will see (and I’m skeptical as Cal has the tendency to go lazy after a good win). But if we play like this against the rest of the teams this season, we might make a dent.

He also stayed relatively cool on the sidelines.
I think a lot of this was just the players listening, buying in and having confidence.

it's what he is paid to do. The unforgivable losses earlier were a DIRECT result of him NOT doing his JOB. This Kentucky has no business finding itself where it's at right now. Should have done so much better this season. I still want to see them succeed, and yes, for Cal to succeed too. But I am done with any optimistic appraisal of his coaching ability.

Auburns ball pressure and physicality definitely bothered us and prevented us from getting into a rhythm, but it wasn't just one on one. Down the stretch we were running tons of things for Reeves, and it opened up a wide open pass to Thiero (great read from Sheppard on that). It worked very well.
Lsu on Wednesday will tell us everything about this coach and team. Mega trap game between auburn and bama.
Played much better effort defensively and was surprised Bradshaw got the minutes he deserved.

I admit I was afraid we'd get curb-stomped so I give all the players and Cal credit for an incredible effort.
If we're being fair, Cal should get credit for wins if he takes the blame for losses.
That was an impressive display and I must admit, unexpected! Cal had them ready to compete tonight.
Every time we have a bad stretch we seemingly pull a big win out of our ass. Hopefully this continues going forward.

I'll give Coach Cal credit tonight, he completely out coached Pearl tonight and called a great game. BTW, how does Pearl get away with yelling screaming at refs and being out on the court doing it? Didn't even get a warning, nevermind a T. Cal would have been T'd up and tossed if he did even less than what Pearl was doing. Crazy!
We did it in the 9-16 season by beating UT at home.

That’s not really true at all. We have an unreal collection of talent that needs leadership. That said, kudos to someone that got them prepared for once and tried another defense, albeit for one possession.
Cal used some TO’s tonite that he normally keeps in his pocket. The one with 3:10 left in game right in front of bench when Antonio was in trouble may have been his best use of one in long time

I am very happy eating crow tonight. I figured we would drop this game by a ton. Did not see us being the physical team. And still have not seen the game yet. I guess I can watch tomorrow night on SEC Network at 10pm. Happy for the team. Maybe we are starting to buy into what needs to be done to get the W. We will see. Many more hard games to play before post season. But this is a great start.
