Exactly... if the QB is really as talented as people saying, then you want to get him the ball.

This team is playing pretty bad on all fronts.

- Defense is who know where
- Dropped passes in the passing game
- Running game hasn't been great, and your starting RB fumbles the ball at a critical time/place in the game.
 
I meant taking the time out when he could have just gone to half up 7.
Hindsight is always 20/20 but it was strange timing to get aggressive simply because you had to expect your field position wasn’t going to be very good after the punt.

I was shocked, Stoops always, always takes that 7 pt lead to the half in that situation.

I'm not commenting on whether his conservative approach before the end of the first half is the right approach, just this exact scenario is why he never tries to push the issue with a minute left.

Given the field position, I was surprised as well. Even if he was expecting to receive the punt around the 30 yard line or better, he doesn't always play aggressive.
