....shoot a free throw with the championship on the line (Kyle Macy)

....guard the other team's best player (DeAndre Liggins)

....set a key pick (James Lee)

....get a key steal (Rajon Rondo)

....hit the game-winning shot (Aaron Harrison)

....provide a spark off the bench (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist)

FT - Ulis

Guard opponent - MKG

Pick - Winston Bennett

Steal - Wayne Turner

Game Winner - Aaron

Spark off the bench - DA

...guard the other team's best player: WCS

i don't think i would ever have WCS guard other team's best player. I don't think he was a shut down defender that you saw with Liggins and MKG. Briscoe is getting there. He didn't bother the opponents like those two, and hopefully Briscoe/Ulis will get there (Ulis is pretty darn close, but he will always be undersized).

Also he wasn't exactly that great defending the bigs. I would take Noel and Davis over WCS.

So for other team's best player, i would say all around best was MKG. If they were big dude, i would take Noel/Davis.

Again I am doing this list with players that I have seen in action, Imcant speak on a player that I never saw in a live game situation.

....shoot a free throw with the championship on the line - Travis Ford, made 90-100 in a row in a season, lifetime 95%

....guard the other team's best player - Michael Kidd Gilchrist, think of the UL game or the Championship game. Cal still raves about how good the defense was by MKG in that game

....set a key pick - Jamal Magloire

....get a key steal - Rondo or Noel very close here

....hit the game-winning shot - Aaron Harrison as a freshman

....provide a spark off the bench - Darius Miller, think of that NCAA run in '12

....shoot a free throw with the championship on the line (Kyle Macy, Jodie Meeks)

....guard the other team's best player (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, if it was a PG then Wayne Turner would be fine)

....set a key pick (Winston Bennett)

....get a key steal (Rajon Rondo)

....hit the game-winning shot (Aaron Harrison, Rex Chapman, EDIT: come to think of it, just give the ball to Jamal Mashburn)

....provide a spark off the bench (James Lee over and over)

The last three made me think of Dwight "The Blur" Anderson.

Dig out a loose ball
Winston Bennett or MKG

Run a player down & block his layup
Tayshaun Prince, the greatest ever at doing this.
