Who would you choose?
My answer is clear...Dave "Radar" Baker.
If there is a know-nothing, know-it-all, worse than him then I don't want to know about them. He literally makes me physically perspire with anger when he speaks. Ive not seen anyone who is worse at their job and keep it for an extended time. Very, very condescending and dorky. A terrible combination that deserves a good smack to the head, if you could get by the slabs of beef hanging from the spots where normal people have ears.

His statement that nobody on this team could start on the 2012 team is wrong (as usual) and his faulty illogical (as usual) reasoning is that Teague has a championship!!! No sh1t, dumbass. So does that also mean Wall couldn't start over Teague. What about Knight and Rondo? He's such an idiot, and the worst kind of idiot...one that thinks he's right and everyone that thinks otherwise is below him.

So there's that.

The "no one could start on the 2012 team" discussion irked me a bit too. IIRC, Oscar Combs agreed with it too so it wasn't just a Dave Baker thing.

There's no chance Sophomore Ulis wouldn't start over Freshman Teague. I also would STRONGLY consider moving Murray into the starting lineup over Lamb, although Lamb is the most underrated Wildcat possibly ever to me.

I think Cal likes to keep him around as a pet and he doesnt have a voice on UK radio. Im not forced to listen to him if I want to listen to the pregame like I have for my entire life. With Tipton I just dont read his drivel.
 
Tipton was first name that came to my mind when I read the OP. Like the poster above said, can't believe it took so many posts to get the right answer.

Again, Duke isnt associated with our program. They are their own entity. I wasnt clear with my question.
My line of questioning is in line with the regular complaints many have with Jones. To me Baker is below what UK fans deserve.
Sorry for the confusion.

I think, basically that your are very misguided in your opinion. Mr. Baker is a true UK fan and a very talented announcer. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the UK program and I happen to think, at this point, he is right about nobody on this team would start for the 2012 team. If this team wins it all then I think my opinion would change but lets see what they accomplish first. As far as who should be eliminated from the program, I am not sure that there is anyone associated with it at the moment that I would pick at the moment. I will say that I wish Mr. Baker was in Matt Jones' spot for covering the UK basketball games. He is much, much better.

Best laugh yet. Thanks. Call me crazy. I enjoy my announcers to know more about the game than me and use actual logical arguements when they debate a point with callers. Yelling "I'm going to go crazy!" because "twitter is blowing up", due to his stupid "reasoning" isnt my idea of a job well done. For each his own?

Maybe I am. Ive never asked anyone. I'm just as humored by this as you. If he's good, Macy must be Johnny Most! Lol.
