I don't think we will but I also don't think it will be the 30 point blowout games it has been the last few years
But if we do, how deflating would it be going forward into the offseason going forward with the issues we have
1 The OC position has to happen very quickly
2 Must hit a homerun in the portal on the QB position
3 Our recruiting class as it stands right now is not what we thought or hoped it would be and we need help in the portal at multiple positions
4 It will be interesting to see who we lose in the portal
5 The OL coach position. Does CMS make a change there ?
6 How would losing deflate the fan base for the offseason ?
7 Pay Brad White and lock him up
8 Would a loss loosen the lock we have had as far beating out L for instate recruits ?
Is this the most important offseason for CMS since he has been here ? I think it is

Nice post.

1. We have to find an OC with a proven, modern concept. Yes, we have to find him soon. If not our elite WR unit is going to be decimated.

2. Same as #1. We have to reliably showcase our receivers talents. If we don't find that guy that will also decimate our WR unit.

3. Our recruiting class is suffering from NIL and a terrible season. We have to change both the perception and reality quickly. Its a dangerous game to have to hope to fill needs through the portal.

4. I'm scared to see who leaves. This free agency BS is probably going to destroy good but not great programs.

5. This is a must, an absolute must.

6. I think it would take all the wind from our sails. Louisville is bad despite their record. Ending this terrible season with a bad loss to our rival would be brutal.

7. Yes, our D isn't perfect but he does a great job.

8. NIL opportunities with UL will probably help their in state recruiting more than 1 off year.

I'll add a couple.

9. We must find a way to be competitive in NIL. If we don't, none of the rest will matter.

10. Enough of nonsense. Find a quality special teams coach. The needless errors on special teams costs games.

Sounds like you have everything planned out, except what will happen if we win the game.

The result could be interesting this year for a change, but I don't think UL has played against a defense like ours yet. I don't know how many of our fans actually noticed we just gave GA the toughest game they have faced this year. UL is not GA.

This is going to be the new "biggest game of stoops career"? The biggest was definitely last year. We had to replace basically everything on offensive staff and we did. We had to bring in impact transfers and we did.

This off-season will be cake compared to that. At least we have people in the coaching positions so it's an option to replace them rather than a necessity.

The one that couldn’t stop Vandy or South Carolina ? Our defense is ok but a QB that can move gives us problems
 
You guys do realize that we will be replacing probably 30-35 players from this team next year? Between seniors, transfers, this team will have a whole new face. This upcoming offseason is going to be a season of the unknown. Can’t help but think that the rest of the Country will have very low expectations. Until we see the personnel involved, we will be doing the same.

We re gonna win let’s not even think about losing. After that yeah we need a make over. I hope we can hang on to brown. This guy we can really build our offense around. I don’t know who else is considering a transfer maybe everyone is on the table to potentially look elsewhere. I also want to see stoops bring in a ST coach.

Well I don’t know what to expect at this point. UL is not GA …but they are quite a bit better than Vandy , imo.

You mean that same defense that has given up over 500 rush yards in your last two losses ?

With you here slugger. We going to need 30+ to win. UL has really improve toward end of year and UK just the opposite. We got worse Special Teams in the nation and an O line that has just been awful playing against one of the Top sack teams in the nation. Then we all know what a running QB does to UK or if Cunningham doesn't play it even worse because what a Backup QB does to Kentucky. Kentucky going have to play mistake free on Offense and if we even line up to attempt a FG I walking out of the stadium.
 
1. Until I see a UL Defense that can stop in between tackles rushing game....it's going to be hard for me to see them beating UK. I know our Big Blue Wall isn't up to the past....but CRod has still been a rushing threat in his return. I see him breaking off a few big runs and getting up over 150 rush yards and 2 TDs.
2. Seeing the Levis run game back into the playbook is a good sight....and after what Levis did to UL last year....I'd run him all over the place as well.
3. What will UK defense do.....as some have pointed out. The Vandy game is hard to explain and I don't get why the USC game was a bad look on D....We gave up 24...7 of which n the stupid opening play of game turnover and Sheron shitting the bed all night did no favors to be fair. I think UK D can keep them in the 20s or lower and we should be able to hit 28-35 pts vs. their pitiful D.

I say UK 31 - UL 24.

And even if we win or lose....Yenser has to be fired. Scang should be fired. We need to get an OC in here quick, keep our current roster in tact, find a QB and RB...maybe an edge rusher and Oline in portal and I have no idea what the NIL recruiting crap will look like in the end.

With the gross disappointment of this year’s UK’s football performance, poor recruiting, hoping we can keep our best players from transferring, hoping we can find a transfer quarterback to replace Levis, hoping we can find transfer replacements for the worst UK offensive line in years, hoping we can find a transfer top shelf running back to continue UK’s success at this position (Benny Snell and CRod) and hoping we can find another offensive coordinator, my optimism for UK football being better next year and the year’s after has already been “deflated”
 
A lot of weak kneed people have a big glob of egg on their faces here today. We will see who has the integrity to take responsibility for giving up on our guys.
