For me. It'd have to be Gus Johnson and Bill Walton.. Just thinking of the hilarity and quality of that broadcast would be gold. Poetry in motion. Gus Johnson would be going crazy when a big play happens and you'll just hear Walton afterwards getting in the action with his classic 'wow!!' Phrase. Might be silly and it's something that would never happen. But that combination for an entire game would be something for the ages. Yours?

Again you said dream and that would be Cawood on play by play and me on the color.....you can bet I would point those pushes and fouls out and tell them in all my years I had never seen nothing like it...come to think of it maybe I would be better as a referee.

Does no one remember Gus a few years ago when UNC had Henson basically openly rooting for them against us? He was begging UNC over the air to throw the ball into Henson. Kept talking about how UK couldn't stop it, "why doesn't UNC throw it in the post"? I was watching with my dad and we were both furious. Loved him before then, but he revealed his true colors in that broadcast. Gus Johnson is no UK fan thats for sure.
Don't really need any announcers. Just turn the sound down and watch the game. It is a lot better without all the stupidity.
Sean McDonough and Bill Raftery...Cannot understand the infatuation with Gus Johnson..He is not that good..Glad we dont see him any more than we do..Of course I dont watch all that much anymore because college B ball has become so bad that it is truly unwatchable..
I don't listen to the sound any more. The TV announcers nowadays are unbearable morons. When I do listen, I listen to Leach. Given my choice, it would be Cawood Ledford on the play-by-play. Bilas, Dykes, Walton, Lawson as color man/woman.

Second that! I can stll hear Cawood say "Shot by Macey, Bullseye"! And gone when Sullivan called the Red's games with Waite Hoyt. Gee I feel old.
We are old. But I wouldn't trade my life memories for 50 years. The good Lord has been good to this ole goober!
