I have long thought Knox really likes UK, but with Diallo and Vanderbilt in the fold, he hasn't seen the guaranteed playing time available at other schools.

Now that is all suddenly up in the air with Diallo's situation. Something to look for next week is possibility that Knox delays his commitment. If that happens, and if Diallo stays in the draft, think we have got a great shot.

I wish but he seems to be seems to be in love with the North Carolina teams. He does seem to really like Cal but I think it's too late.

It will definitely help us with him if Diallo stays in the draft. I think we become very attractive for him then. He said Cal has been selling him on the idea of playing at the 2 spot. That's the only piece of info that I've heard that makes me think Diallo may in fact stay in the draft.

I think the premise of the OP is a good one. I will be shocked if we end up with no Diallo or Knox. In the event that happens, I think we get Johnson and some other guard somewhere.

Knox comes to UK ill streak the quad.

Diallo strikes me as a fragile psyche, looking to take the first train out of town. After the Bolden fiasco, I'm not convinced anymore that K doesn't tell committals to 'hold off' with the express purpose of screwing other teams.

From all that I have read I will be very surprised if we get Knox BUT I have learned never to count Cal out when it come to recruiting.
