And try to figure out which players may not have a scholly when signing day gets here ..... It's a chance that may pay off...

It sound like a good plan but the truth is UK has done this in the past and most of those gotten have not worked out too well. There is usually a good reason that those kid became the odd man out.

Don't know about Bama but in a very under reported story Jones has run off 8-10 guys since season's end. Latest is former starting QB Peterman.

I like taking a chance on kids that Bama etc doesn't have room for but I'm against what UL is doing Sends a very negative message to the youth today

I just hope that some of our UK kids that wound up on the Richmond police blotter don't wind up at uofL.

I don't think it matters how many he runs off. SEC rules states that he has to sign a 25 man class. He can have 23 one year and have 27 the next and that would ok. He can get some transfers in to take in those guys spot he didn't think was good enough though.

How many did he sign last year? Was it 33? Or was that the number from the year before that?

They ended up with 31 last year per Rivals above, but I think they were up to 33 or 34 at one time, some of them probably found out they didn't really have a valid offer------even though they were committed, LOL.

Currrently at 29 in this class, but that will probably rise, even though some commits may be "choosing" to decommit even at this very late date.

They have THREE four star QB commits in this class, with 6.0 Kendall in the 16 class, looks like they are set for a year or two, maybe if one of those blows up Kendall will look around, isn't his brother a walkon at UK? Assuming that UK's team "blows up" (in a good way) this year also. Even more likely if Barker is in trouble, although I don't think that should be the case unless the report is worse than I expect or he continues to be foolish.

10 of UT's commitments have already enrolled and are on campus, so that leaves 19-20. I'm not sure how those 10 count against this year's limit.

You must be ignorant of the facts, no UK player has been accused or named or certainly not arrested by Richmond or any Madison County legal authority. And given the witness reports none will from a mutual scuffle brought on by unknown parties.

The coach down the road also just got a commit from a 4* wr that's 6'6 and was wanted by all the big guys....

so do you think that conrad, daniel, asafo-adeji, and jordan jones dont count toward this years 25 total because they are early enrollee's? ut is using the term "loi" as their basis for sidestepping this rule. its gonna come back to bite them eventually because the oversigning was why they went with the rule anyway. the loophole will be closed and they will end up with 11 schollies for a year.

That counts as 10. UT has no room to back count anyone...they can sign another 15 and then offer greyshirts...however the greyshirted players don't sign a LOI and are not bound by any contract and can't enroll until next January.
In the end they will lose a couple, probably get a couple to agree to greyshirt.

Devante Peete?

Won't qualify, and that's why he chose UL because everyone else pulled offers.
