Firstly, howdy! I have been a long, long-time lurker here on this site. I would guess since the later Tubby years. Been a cat fan since the 60's but lived in and out of state and did not get to watch much early until the mid 70's. Watching delayed telecasts, Jefferson Pilot, pre-ESPN and such coverage. I have got to witness 4 National Championships, I wish I could count the 58 ship, but I would not be born until December of that year.

Anyway, let me cut to the chase. I was an Eastern Kentucky resident until July of this year, and due to a family emergency in my wife's family we had to move here to the Philippines. I have been fortunate that someone has been televising UK games on regular YouTube. But each broadcast gets interrupted more and more. The Louisville game was cut completely off, but the person doing the stream was able to bypass it, yet the image was no larger than an iPad on a 55" tv. Still, it was watchable. Now though, I am fearful that this person who streams will be cutoff. Hopefully not, but I suppose no guarantees.

I have tried a VPN, and tbh, they are not very reliable. I had to purchase my tv here in the Philippines and it will not allow me VPN access. The only other 2 options are my PC and it will not allow either. I was hoping maybe someone would post a stream access or something. If BWO puts in a tape delay, I can deal with that. Even though the game is on my birthday, the 21st, I won't get to watch it live until 6 am here in the Philippines. (It would be like the old days of tape delay, lol). Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thank all of you! Merry Christmas! And GO BIG BLUE!

What vpn did you use? I have IPVanish and it works great. You could also use an IPTV service if you have an Amazon firestick and sideload it.

I use Nord VPN and it works even in China, although sometimes you gotta power down and back up (guys I work with say they got cell phone/von sniffers that find you in their network and you gotta power down to get it to work again. Not sure if it’s true but it works.)

Something I might recomend is if you have a family member buy a couple cheap firesticks (Xmas time is a great time to get them). Have them setup the firestick and then get a subscription to YouTube tv if you can afford it. Once a firestick logs in from their zip code it will work abroad for several months on YouTube tv network. Every so many months it’ll expect it to log in from its home area code. So swap them out on occasion. If you can afford it, that’s a sure way to get it full screan etc. This method works for me all over the world. This may not work for this year but if your there next year can consider it.

I use ExpressVPN, but disappointed with it. The Firestick is a good idea, but it takes 4 months to send stuff from the states to here in a box. I could watch a few things on Express, but locals are not allowed, it always wants to check location, which for some reason, the VPN is not good at hiding. I guess I will get my son to set me up on Firesticks and ship them out to me and be ready next year I suppose. Doing the sideloading and such, I have no idea how to do it. Funny, I could run a million dollar MRI machine in my day, but stuff like this I am no good at doing. Thanks.

I’m not sure if ExpressVPN does this, but IPVanish gives you an option to choose any location in the world.

Proton vpn is free and always worked for me. This guy uploads every game shortly after they are aired to his YouTube.

Someone with a YouTube channel could do something as simple as recording the TV screen with their phone, uploading it, and sending you the link. You would just have to watch it later.
