What part(s) of 10-3 and New Years Day Citrus Bowl victories over ranked opponents enticed you to think anyone is satisfied with 6-6 records??

If we parted ways with the first winning coaching staff we’ve had in 60 years, we’d draw little interest from any quality coach. They would rightfully question our collective sanity.

HOF Coach Frank Beamer had 68 wins his first 11 seasons at Virginia Tech. Stoops is half way through his 11th season and has 71, and likely 3-5 more by the end of Bowl season.

Bro, I’m 60 years old. Those 10-3 seasons are the highlights of 70 years of football, not a mere decade, and have powered greater recruiting for the present and immediate future.

Your take is extremely cynical and that of a fan that long ago quit. Getting to the playoffs in college football is one of , if not the hardest accomplishment in sports through the sec. All others have a much simpler path. Ky obviously has to get through GA first (doable). But if that happens , we are very much able to make the playoffs.

The Cats aren't playing for a national title. Nobody is winning a national title with a QB and wide receiving corp that can't connect on simple passes. We have a great defense but anyone that stops the run beats us at this point in the season.

Anyone that tries to stop the run on us has to use 8 in the box. If they do, even Leary can feast on something like that. That’s Robinson and Key open all day, regardless of keeping a TE home for extra blocking.

Who quit before the season was over?

Are you referring to Levis and CRod opting to not play in 7=5 Music City Bowl?....but nobody that I am aware of opted out of any regular season games.

You hit the nail on the head. Excellent defense! Any team that has good run defense, (GA, AL, & TN) could easily kick our butt. USCe & red birds run defense is not horrible. FL had a horrible run defense that we exposed, but we can't even dream of another 300 yard rushing game this year against any of our remaining games.

That's worked well for UK and other bottom feeders in the past.

I will also add that by your standards, virtually every college football program should be regularly firing their head coach. It's just not an intelligent way to run a program.
