If Auburn doesn't win the NCAA championship this year..

Tip of the cap. Nice post. I think both teams have improved majorly from that early December matchup. Duke’s offensive is farrrr better than it was before new year and Auburn’s defense and depth have improved markedly. Would be such an interesting game on a neutral floor if both are bully healthy.
Just wanted to reply to your post and say it is so nice to see a reply post response that isn't combative or derogatory. An actual back and forth conversation of opinions. Tip of the cap to you sir. Very rare today and on this board

Auburn or Duke will coast to title like UCONN last year. Nobody gets within 10 of them for 6 games. Pearl has put in the work he deserves it. Wish our program looked decent enough to expect a 3rd week of March game.

Duke has played one good team in months and lost. (Illinois was ravaged with sickness/injuries). The ACC being awful is going to really hurt them. Now Proctor is out for who knows how long. They won't win it.

Per Thamel earlier today, Proctor likely to return against UNC next Saturday. And idk - the schedule narrative is over blown to me when you are that talented and winning by an average of nearly 40… for sure a historically bad conference and yet a correspondingly historically wild MoV even for a bad conference. Not sure we have a good precedent for a season like this one so it could be a crazy March!

@Eric Bischoff @AUBURNTRON @Ruxpin @TurfTiger won his superbowl today and has now created 4 new aliases and counting. It's the most exciting thing he'll do all weekend in BFE, Alabama. 🤣
Hey @FlynAUround , rather than report you for opening your 5th account of the night, laughing at 40 of my posts to try to get under my skin and proving there aint squat to do in Auburn on a Saturday night….I’ll just put you on ignore. 🤡

r/remind me where cbm is in two years.

Crazy to think pearl has been there 10 years. One final four. Hopefully another early flameout.

With his 30 year olds leaving and hopefully pettiford a top 20 pick, his next shot at a title might be his last.

Add @7ofNine to the new account list. The poor guy has waited hjs entire life for this. Its the first time his War Eagles have won at Rupp since they cut his cord and spanked his but.

Auburn will win it all if it's one of the years when the best team wins it; that happens at least one time out of three. Just my opinion but I think they're so far ahead of the field this year that they're an odds on favorite to win the championship. When your player of the year candidate has a terrible game(hats off to Amari for an amazing defensive job against Broome) and you still beat a good team easily on the road, you have some serious talent.

If the SEC is truly as difficult as everyone says, then in my mind that makes Auburn elite and the clear favorite for the title.

What will hurt them come tournament time is the same thing that hurts all these SEC schools. They won't be allowed to grab and hook or play ultra-physically because SEC officials won't be calling their games. Auburn would be on my list for early upsets this year. I never trust the SEC in the big dance, and while I think they are the best conference, I still won't this year.

That's what we'll hear at the end of the tournament when we put 12 teams in and 1 team will make it to the E8. GuEsS tHe SeC wAsN't ThAt GrEaT...hurdy hur hur. The conference does a disservice to these teams with the clown officiating.

I can see foul trouble knocking Auburn out of the NCAAT.
I can see foul trouble knocking everyone except Duke out. Lol
If we have learned one thing this year it is this.
You don’t even have to touch someone for a foul to be called. We usually get 2-3 a game.

There is no such thing as SEC officials. Everyone believes this. It’s not true. Officials are independent contractors hired by the leagues. Shows may be doing a big 12 game tomorrow.
What people don’t understand is officials are given instructions by the leagues of how THEY WANT GAMES CALLED. Then the officials do that.
When they get hired by the tournament, the tournament officials tell them how they want the tournament called. They call games by how their employers want.
I agree that the tournament officials tell them to not allow the physicality that the SEC allows. That is not on the SEC officials. There is no such thing. The league office tells them what they want.
