If anything Kansas should be worried....

Hey toonces. Nice moniker by the way. It's funny, you're trying to credit UK's poor defense while I'm trying to credit Selden. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

If UK had a habit of letting guys just go off for 30+ this season, I might go along with you. But that is not the case. Now, there were some breakdowns, obviously, but I think it was mostly Selden just playing his best game, making shots, playing aggressively, and executing in the clutch. If he hadn't played that well, Kansas loses that game, even with 47 free throws and the refs swallowing their whistles on the other end.

Swallowing the whistles on the other end? I fail to recall many times with a TON of KU physicality causing UK to lose the ball, put up a bad shot, get a shot blocked, etc.

Were there some touch fouls on Lee & Labissiere that were "iffy"? Yeah, I can agree to that. But I sure didn't see many at the other end that should have been called.

Not really. They have to play defense on him just like any other player.

When a 12-15 pt scorer goes off for 30, it helps to see the context within how he scored. He got his against UK because no matter how good of defense we played we got called on baloney calls.

***He's averaging 15.5 ppg And before the referenced bad 2-3 stretch for KU headed into that game he was averaging nearly 17/game.

And if you hadn't had the free throws, you would've lost by 15 on your own court. Why wait till next year? Let's play this on a neutral court this year and get the same outcome as next year.

Don't foul then. They play on a neutral court this year & Ulis, Poythress, Murray, Lee & Labissiere aren't shotting 60% from the floor either.

Likewise, Ellis, Graham & Mason aren't shooting 29% from the floor.

That's certainly from a KU fan perspective. How about this. Here's a better perspective. You all played shitty defense which allowed our guys to shoot better. As for the defense, well our defense was great, and it bothered ya. We raw dogged it. And for the fouls, yeah, everyone knows that game was jobbed.

Well then you should watch it again. And remember, in a game like this, ONE call is all it takes on either end. But the blatantly lopsided free throw attempts tells the story.

Here's one in particular: missed Kansas shot, rebound being grabbed by Ulis and he's nearly knocked flat out, no call, ball is kicked out for a 3, which is made. Every time down the floor in the last 8-9 minutes of the game, and OT, Kansas either made a shot or a foul was called. On the other end, no whistles. Now, I guess we're all to believe that Kansas just never fouled? Ha!

KU fans can worry or they can not worry, odds are we won't see them again this season. It was a great game and our little ole team had a real shot to beat the mighty Jayhawks on their home court.

We played well and went toe to toe and then 5 more minutes.Maybe we proved who we were, they were 3rd or 4th in the country and we are just barely staying ranked. We go back to our conference and they go back to their's.

We will see them at our place next year, some of our same guys will be there along with a few new folks to help keep the Jayhawks entertained when they show up.Ya'll try to win that Big 12 crown but them ol' boys down at Oklahoma are a pretty tough bunch.

See ya next year.
