I was impressed with with the crowd except…

Heard it loud and clear on my tv. Thought I was going to have to mute it because my kids were watching. Disgusting behavior. Then you have Auburn fans throwing stuff at Alabama players later on in the day. The erosion of morality in our country and our world is truly disheartening. It’s just sports, people. Chill out.

Always cracks me up when the crowd starts shit talking the refs. Like they aren't human beings who have the capability of being petty and punishing your team even more.
You know those MF are petty too, they are already corrupt. Let’s make them mad. I wish we got the crew who did the LSU game every game in the SEC. That was the fastest and smoothest game.

For sure. I said the same thing to myself when the game was over and I looked at the clock and it was 8:50.

I know this is not a popular opinion and I like to have a good cold beer but since they started selling beer in these stadiums it’s gotten so much worse..
Exactly! They'll do it for money and then object to the consequences it brings....

We're going to sell alcohol at games, but we need you to police yourself and don't do anything dumb. Yeah right.

We're going to legalize sports gambling, but don't get hooked on it, don't go overboard. But if you do...call this number.

We're gonna let you play with fire, just don't get burned. Here's some rope to play with, just don't hang yourself.

.

Personal accountability. I’d rather have things like alcohol and gambling than Prohibition. History shows us what an abject and utter failure that was.

I was disappointed in Gates and their crowd, it’s one thing to boo bad calls, they were booing the correct calls all game long. In addition to their dirty mouths, Gates was riding the refs asses the whole time too, even when the refs were right. I thought he was a pretty classy guy and in his press conference most of what I heard he was blaming the refs and bad breaks. Never giving Kentucky much credit all all, although I didn’t hear all of it because I couldn’t stand to hear anymore and turned it off.

Gates is not classy. I've never cared for him much. I can respect what he's done this year, but I don't like him (even if Pope does).

I was more impressed with the "Go Big Blue" chants.
You’re welcome …I was part of the chants haha

Mizzou fans are sore losers. I yelled “yessir Cats ruined senior day” and couple of older fellers called me a prick 😂 and they told me to go back where I came from (real original) and they looked real stupid when I said well bud I’m from Missouri …they just turned around and didn’t say a word…my wife got a good chuckle out of it.

Those chants were LOUD. Awesome job. Nothing fills BBN with more pride than being able to hear that at a road arena. Never will forget the time it was LOUD at Thompson-Boling and even with the Vols loud booing it was STILL heard on TV. Loved it.

Are you Missouri born 'n raised or a transplant?

Yeah MO born n raised for 39 years but my Dad grew up in Sturgis/Morganfield KY area and I still have family over in that area. Dad moved to MO a couple years before I was born but raised me up on UK ball.

Now I’m passing it on to my 4 year old son. His first game was yesterday. I had him chanting Let’s go Cats leaving the arena haha

I don’t know what it is about them that makes them so entitled. They have never won anything.

In 2018 at the SEC in St Louis they were talking smack from the time we got there about sending UK home. Michael Porter, Jr had been cleared to play.

They “wanted” UK. Little problem. We had the double bye. They had to play on Thursday. And lost!😉

We actually enjoyed the tournament being there. The hosts were just not hospitable.

Or maybe they were?😆

I was disappointed in the crowd at Missouri and in Gates too, but it was natural to assume the officiating would follow suit for them, like it did at Georgia and Alabama .... just for instance sake - and for some reason my gut looked at it and said they'd NOT get the officiating breaks they counted on. And they didn't. So we won. Crazy.

But classy is not something I'd use to describe the fans or coach. Rode that officials ass the entire game and was a mad little gnome there, looking really angry. It was actually quite funny, to me. Post game, it was focused on lack of them getting to the free throw line. Not much of a good word for how well Kentucky did against them. Just that they left things on the table and should have won. BAH. I don't care for that attitude, but Mizzou is good this year, I'll give them credit for a great turnaround year.

And a shoutout from me here in Morganfield, by the way, BassPro ! I love living here since I've had the opportunity coming back to Kentucky from Arizona ! God Bless you taking your son. My earliest memories are with my dad going to Kentucky games starting in 1974. So cool. (only my earliest memory is leaving Bloomington from a Cats' game and ducking, bobbing, and weaving after getting our ass handed to us in classic (L) Hoosier fashion)

Nothing like being raised up in BBN.
