I was dreading being so young next year

I don't think Diallo comes back or we get Johnson, we'll close with Bamba and call it a class.

I know nothing though.

I hope for Bamba. If that happens and then Diallo stays pro, I believe we get Johnson and that won't be much of a drop off with his ACC experience. I'm good.

Didn't know anyone worried about 'being young'.

I tried to make a joke on this subject and no one bit on it. Growing old is the natural way to get to the Golden years. I don't think I'm there yet but with the board it helps place me with great members of all ages and their opinions To correctly answer your question when I was young I didn't mind being young.

I was worried but we are either a Johnson or Diallo away from being a final four contender, one of those two plus Bamba then the team will be a title contender.

SCL I think we are final four ready now. However this is how I would like it to unfold. Diallo I feel like isn't coming back but Knox floored me last Saturday so who knows? If Diallo stays put I would like to get Cam Johnson. Here's why.......He would be a junior in eligibility and a knock down shooter, can play the 2 or 3 and he's 6'8" tall and add his experience! To me I think Bamba picks UK, he practically knows the whole team and loves coach Cal and staff. His beast friend is Mo Green and a growing tight friendship with Kevin Knox! That's my take and I'm sticking to it.

You're not even trying to be subtle.
He is not lying either. Before Cal( who i would never trade him for anyone else) we were all thinking like Dan issel. Now Alot are about draft picks, not tradition. Things like We will NEVER see the scoring title challenged, ect. To many this is not a bash in ANYWAY with our own, its just a conflict between putting players first, or putting the name of a great institution first that had a real rich history, the best before our change in philosophy. Myself, i just wanna see the kids that are not ready come back. I dont want our recruits to think they have 1 or 2 years to get it right. In Charles Matthews own words its what drove him to transfer, he saw he wasnt as ready as he thought but i want kids to know you may not be ready 1 year into college, dont transfer, work harder and grow.

Some get really offended if you aren't satisfied with one title over Cal's span. They go to great lengths to defend his tourney record. Strong, strong feelings for Cal. Maybe they feel uncomfortable about their feelings? I've never had those feelings, so I don't know how I'd react. I never will either.

Some people don't understand the game. Some people spout the same BS every thread. Some people are idiots. Some people are just trolls.

Quite a few on here seem quite content with getting to Final Fours and having the most guys in the NBA. Cal has a cult following that is more infatuated with him than winning titles.

Name them. If it's quite a few, tag five people and let them come tell us all about it.

Really insensitive comment. People have real anxiety issues.

That said...great idea. Looking into it now. Thx

Hope it works for you.

Not trying to be a jerk, but it gets old trying to go through the posts with all the negative or worrying. I mean we get Knox and people speculate it has to do with JV knee. The excitement that should be there is replaced by pessimism. It is sometimes hard to find a good basketball discussion because of all of the negative nancies here.
