Watching the offense last night, and the calls we made, it brought back reminders of when Joker was head coach. The calls when we were on offense are plain vanilla. It was different with Florida. Twice they stacked the backs on the left, when they had third and short and ran the back behind them, with the whole line pulling left. Both times they got a first down.
They ran a reverse for a good gain. I know Dawson said we only have about 6 or 7 sets, but maybe he should try some different sets, something we haven't run in every game. If the defense keeps getting to PT, how about moving the pocket instead of letting the defense "pin their ears back" and come after PT. Patrick has to be able to move laterally, or he will continue to get sacked, and he cannot continue to refuse to throw the ball away, and take a big loss.
I would like to see PT start against Missouri, but Barker get a few snaps.
