I think a few others had said it. The combination of UNC's problems, the "fortunate" whistle that helped them get there, and the horribly played final game will make this go down as maybe the most empty championship ever. And not just on this board or the Duke board, it seems to be the feeling nationally. Usually there is a little admiration for the winners . . . hard to muster any here.
I congratulate Gonzaga on the 2017 NCAA Championship and South Carolina as the 2017 Runners Up.
It is disgraceful that the governing body, the NCAA, allowed filth to participate in the tournament through delay and ineptitude.
The only thing we can hope for is that this gives both the NCAA and the people who have been fighting for UNC to be punished motivation to ramp up the efforts. The good news is is that Roy and K are nearing the end. I feel like if UNC does get hit, Roy may retire.
Iferg69, your either a packers, colts, steelers or Bengals fan....plus UK! Yes everyone dislikes the Pats, I get that....I've been a fan since 84....but why, please someone tell me why, this has anything to do with the current state of NCAA bball? Again, the pats got reprimanded... UNC, Louisville have not why?
Its sad....just sad....and any UNC fan that see's any bbn posts/threads we're NOT bitter we lost (well yes we are) but its the fact, that a major university with major allegations I mean MAJOR allegations won the title and gets a pass....thus far....
Not sure what "derp" means, but I assume it means someone that doesn't just follow the crowd at meal time to find the mess hall. I agree with him. As a fan base, we need to quit bitching. We had them beat with 5 minutes to go and didn't get it done. I'm tired of "we should have been up at halftime" arguments. We had them beat and didn't finish. They have their problems, we've had ours. Let's win on the court and quit convincing the rest of the country what a bunch of whiny asses our fans are.
As soon as the NCAA came out with the NOA on UNCheat, they should have not been allowed to participate in any tournaments until the investigation was complete because all they did was stall with more findings that they,UNC found on themselves, didn't win last year oh better stall again, we'll get another year to try and win another NCAA championship and the NCAA was playing right along I'm sure, mission accomplished 
They didn't even actually "win" anything. It was clearly handed to them. Not only have they refused to punish them they help them whenever possible.
"Derp" is not a compliment, and as far as following the crowd to the mess hall thats what UNC players get straight A's for. If he thinks I'm supposed to be proud that Roy and UNCheat "manned" up and won a legit title he can think again!!
