You’ll hear the knee jerk reactions, especially in a loss “that the coaches made no adjustments.”

On a number of plays in the second half, right before snapping the ball, they shifted a big tight end just behind the LOS, and he stopped in the very “gap” a twisting/stunting DE would be crashing through if the o-guard couldn’t handle him.

I didn’t notice it in live game action.

There are other remedies for the DE curling beneath . . . rewatch Crod’s third Q touchdown after Weaver’s pick in last year’s Florida game. He ran it in from 10 yards, and it looked ridiculously easy . . . he ran straight at the right side and their DE was not there to even get blocked . . . he had curled behind the tackle, and the tackle was too slow to replace him to set the edge.

I seriously think our offense will be OK in Gainesville. We have good coaches who have known Crod would not make this trip for months.

They and the team will adjust.

Kinda how I feel Hack. We will be better. Florida will need a lot more than AR running around. An experienced D that has great depth everywhere. AR will probably have to pass more than he would like. Also feel like our running game will be improved. If our OL can do their job we have weapons everywhere. A lot to stop.

Haven’t you heard? We gonna get bitch slapped! We got no chance. 10000 tobacco worms, a pint of spray. I’ve already booked Christmas through New Years Eve. I trust this board. It’s over.

Hack, I normally love your takes on this board, but you really need to get with the times. We can't have nice things. Shall I list the reasons?

The offensive line is awful and will never get better, Stoops doesn't know what he's doing, also f--- Mitch Barnhart, our defensive line is abysmal, our season is toast, THEY SCORED A WHOLE 13 POINTS ON US, something about CRod, f--- Mitch again, Florida is going to demolish us, also f--- Calipari still for some reason, something about Yenser being trash, Stoops is gonna leave, Scan is awful, we're cursed, and many more.

We learned and/or reinforced all of that from one game against a MAC team. Wake up, Man.

Scang made some nice adjustments. He went max pro with the te as you mentioned on a few plays including the TD to magwood. After seeing they were really shutting down the boot, he went away from that too.

I think he's a really really solid oc but just wasn't blown away. We only had two plays that had some really creative action. Scang said he was holding back but the great ones put tons of stuff on tape then counter off it. Then later in the season they counter off their counter.

Coens genius jumped out right away. I remember posting after the first game that fans need to enjoy him because he won't be here more than a season. Everyone thought I was crazy, but he was that special from the beginning.

With scang maybe it's there and he hasn't shown it. More likely, he's just a really really solid oc; and that can actually be better long term for our program.

Against Florida. I expect to see a lot of 12 personnel with one tight end blocking and one running routes.
