UofL is going to blitz early and often. Running downs, passing downs- doesn't matter. Anyone who has watched even a smattering of their games should know that and prepare accordingly.
I'm hoping we see a lot of 3-step drops, quick passes to our WRs who will be one on one. All it will take is one broken tackle and we'll see some long gains. I think the middle screen game will work well with so many committed to sacking the QB. Please, no sideways screens. Too risky that an errant pass is a Pick-6.
We can run the ball, I think, but must pick our spots and be unpredictable. If UofL doesn't get TFL, sacks and TOs, they're beat. If we look like we haven't scouted them and their tendency to blitz heavily, it could go badly in a hurry.
