And I probably “like” PSU more than I do James Franklin.

It’s not likely, but just maybe Boise State finds that old Oklahoma magic from 20 years ago, and shocks the world.

I don’t like Franklin either, never have. Boise State has a chance, Bowling Green scared them to death and USC should have beaten them.

Damn I learn something new everyday. I had no clue State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona copied Boise State's blue field turf ? Wonder what the reasoning was ??? Boise State's blue turf will not have ANY roll in the outcome.

Going to be interesting seeing jeanty against legit team.

That said, i think PSU is massively overrated. They got an absolute gift in the first round and as icing smu qb imploded. Now they get another team thats probably the best possible matchup.

How on earth did they get such a good draw?

Franklin is a fraud. He recruits and retains enough elite players to start the season top 20 then runs the score up on the ooc schedule and "out talents" everybody not named Michigan and Ohio State to stay top 10. All he did at Vanderbilt was make them competitive at a time the SEC was at its lowest. When you dig into his actual wins, he beat 2 SEC teams with winning records in 3 seasons(7-6 Ol Miss, 8-5 UGA). I've never been impressed.

Couldn't agree more. If Boise St can run the ball it will be a long day for PSU.

Penn State built their brand on the backs of sexually abused kids. Yes, I know the culprits are either dead, in prison or fired, but Penn State should, to this day NOT be a prolific program.

Why nobody winces or is full of cringe when PSU is shown as a top 25 or top 10 team is beyond me. It's embarrassing they fill that stadium for games knowing the history of that program. It's indefensible to be a fan of that program

Franklin is number 1 on my poop list. I remember what he did to Kentucky while at Vanderbilt. Kentucky got him in the bowl game but he can't be got enough to suit me.
