This is what Matt Jones and his ilk pushed for. Alcohol at UK games & now here we are fists flying. Jones also pushed for legalized gambling in the state. Now that it's legal & it's so easy to place a bet. I dread the day when we find out that a UK player betted on a game that he played in & get's his self involved in a point shaving scandal. I hope we never see it, but money brings out the worst in a person.

I would venture to say that fight wasn't caused by drinking g too many Bud Lights. My guess the hours of drinking whiskey in the parking lot BEFORE the game might have caused it. Or, or, maybe they just had a disagreement and decided to mix it up a bit. Not exactly a all out brawl, looked like one dude was scared and the other was glad of it. OP , 100% lock, a more secure fight happened somewhere outside the stadium. When you a bunch of people together, shit happens.

Lol. People have drinking heavily for decades at UK football games. People have been fighting in the stands for decades at UK football games. And if a player wanted to bet on games, I can assure you they have had plenty of avenues to do it long before it was legal in Kentucky.

I'm all for it. Show your ticket to buy a beer. System limits you to X. Obviously this can be abused. Show your arse and forfeit the remaining tickets for the season. Easy enough.

Ticket scanning is already too problematic to use them as a counter.
