Alex did get the crap knocked out of himself several times. Anybody see that one time when he drove to the basket and they held him, but a travel was called. Even Bilas said he was fouled. Relax everybody, the team WILL GET BETTER Cal will works on the wrongs. We probably needed this loss to wake us up

Umm, YES you can. Where've you been? Scholarships are renewable annually, nobody's guaranteed a four year ride. And coaches do it all the time. Every year plenty of kids get told to move on so that a scholly spot will be available for a freshman recruit. This is nothing new.

And, regardless, the fact remains: simple math tells us several must leave. The rules only allow 13 scholly spots. We're maxed out. We've promised spots to 5 new recruits. You don't see the obvious problem here?

Yeah, we have the 6 coming in and if everyone on this year's team wanted to come back, you kick off the worst players.

Murray, Ulis, Briscoe, Skal, Poy, Matthews and Lee would retain their scholarships. Everyone else would lose theirs, not the best players if they decided to come back. This is a totally pointless post as most of the 7 I listed are gone, probably 6.
