I don't wanna think of life after Cal

I'm not a Cal hater or basher, and my post history will confirm this, but I am actually looking forward to the next era. Cal has had incredible success, but I am ready for the next era. I always enjoy watching the maturation of growth of players over a few seasons and really miss that component. Maybe I am assigning too much of that to Cal, and perhaps it's just the reality of college basketball landscape. Either way, cal has been incredible but I also think Kentucky will always be Kentucky.

Now-- go ahead and slam me! :)

I get that. But you're ready like .. now? For a "new era ?" Or when it happens you'll be fine?

If you're ready now, honestly curious as to who you think would be a good coach to try and attain?

If I'm being honest, I'm ready "now". But please don't interpret that to mean I'd like to push Cal out the door.
I just mean I'm excited to see who and what happens next... whether that is in a year or 10 years.
As to the "who"--- I don't know. If pressed for an answer, I'm not gonna throw out the delusional Donovan and Stevens names. I'd be intetested to see what Chris Mack could do.

Yeah, just ok. That's what worries folks.
No, we are UK.

We've lost Rupp, Pitino, Knight, and we will lose Cal.

The show goes on.

EDIT: meant Keightly. Also forgot Hall. That's drinking bud. Celebrating 4th.

Mainly meant we've had huge contributions from several people that have made UK, UK.
