the TV said they called it on Briscoe for slamming the ball but the T wasn't called until he pushed Murray, several seconds after the play. Did they ever say for sure what it was for? I know sirmons called it.

Only legit reason for it would have been spiking the ball. Was a strange call either way.

Slamming the ball on the floor like that is a delay of game technical foul, implemented a few years ago. If he would of just kept it from bouncing high in the air, no t would have been called.

It should have been called for slamming the ball down, but Sirmons didn't call it until after he shoved Murray. I think he ended up giving it to him for something he heard him say to Murray.

Just one of many calls that Sirmons missed. He was awful both ways. Perhaps the worst official in the SEC...which is saying something.

the T was for slamming the ball down..but it was briscoe who did it, right? then Murray after the fts for t thrown, got his foul shot
