Humphries over Skal...it's coming

This is a joke, right? Skal's first game against a good team with an experienced Senior physical center gave him a lesson that Cal had warned about. But, way more mobile and skilled than Humphries (who was a bigger body but took a silly shot, and didn't show the passing skills, quick put backs, or other things that Skal demonstrated in his limited minutes). Just think if he gets more physical, learns over the season about defensive position, how great he can be.

Hump was a beast last night. That big butt was shoving and giving duke all it could eat.

I predicted Ulis last year and made the claim Hump would take Skals spot.

We're watching it unfold now.

Not gonna happen. Humphries will get minutes here and there, but no way he takes Skal's spot.

If you haven't caught on yet this is lek trying to be funny. His mission is to get you believing the bs he says so he can report back to the d-bag league and talk about how stupid you are for believing him. This is what he gets off on. The more you say how stupid his post is the more he posts more outlandish bs. Don't feed the d-bag troll, he constantly talks about how bad the posters on rafters are.

This is by far the dumbest post I have seen on here....and that's saying something.

Skal just needs time to adjust to physicality of college game. My mid-February, Cal will have him in beast mode.

But yeah, Humphries is going to be good and a vital cog - especially next year.

You realize this post will resurface several times later this year and next.

It's a really bad post and you'll probably be stereotyped this point forward. Probably time for a new screen name.

You're obviously trolling, but i'll bite. Skal is a number 1 overall draft pick caliber player. He is going to start every game this year barring injury. HOWEVER, I do think that Hump is going to see plenty of minutes. Especially against teams that have a big, physical, Plumlee type of guy. I can easily see Skal getting in foul trouble against the big bruiser types. He's extremely talented, but he's not Anthony Davis.

So...

Skal had 7 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block in 13 minutes
Humphries had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks in 12 minutes

Skal had terrible game.
humphries had great game.

I get the feeling the expectation of Skal is noticeably higher...
Don't fight with actual statistics...makes the emotional look ever worse.

Wonder when Bryan the intern's article about this subject will pop up on ksr?

While I was impressed with what Isaac did last night while in the game but let's not get ahead of ourselves on this one. I don't see him taking Skal's minutes however IF he continues to work with Coach Payne and improves it is not out of the realm of possibility that Coach Cal may use him at the 5 and slide Skal to the 4 spot sometimes in a game depending on match ups. Then we could have Marcus and Alex off the bench. That would be hard to stop. I was very surprised that Coach Cal went to him so early in the game and was very pleased at what he did. Let us not forget he would be a HS Senior if had not reclassified. If he can give us solid minutes while he is on the floor that would be awesome.

You should team up with the guy who posted that UK would win forty games this season. Like minds.
