not sure why there was that lull mid season where humf didn't see the floor. Seems like he has picked up right where he left off when he played well in the OOC...

Yeah he has some issues, though def contributing now. and gonna turn into a nasty version of aussie cut offs before it all ends. Jorts 2.0

If Humphries were as good as Jorts, we'd be the number 1 team in the country.

He's Jorts 0.5 now, next year could approach Jorts 0.9, then surpass Jorts 1.0 (Josh his senior year) starting his junior season

Jorts as a jr/sr was way stronger and meaner than Hump is now.....but......watch out after Hump has a year of strength training at UK. I think he will be way better than he is now, which isn't bad for an 18 yr old who apparently hasn't ever done any serious strength training. Hump is already fundamentally ahead of Jorts.

He is the Kentucky Kiwi Jethro (trademark pending), songs will be written about him by the time he's done here.

He tries to play with the same toughness, but Jorts would break Humphries in half.

Now, when Hump is a grown man like Jorts was coming in, he'll be plenty effective.

yeah, that's why i said jorts 2.0. the next version is always better

I love it when two guys look alike then that makes him the next....humphries and Jorts may look alike but they are different players. goood God last year it was Devin Booker next Klay Thompson. Because two people look alike doesn't mean they are going to be be the next version. Skal next version of Anthony davis? He even did the poster pic to prove it

If Humphries were as good as Jorts, we'd be the number 1 team in the country.

Jorts wasn't Jorts until his senior year. But looking at sophomore Harrellson, he averaged 15.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per 40 minutes with 1.1 assists, 1.1 steals, 2.5 blocks, and 4.7 fouls. Freshman Humphries' per-40 numbers are 7.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0 steals, 3.8 blocks, 10.0 fouls. Humphries is shooting a lower percentage (39.1% to 44.7%). So, Humpries may get there. He has some ability we can see, and we're comparing a just recently turned 18 year old freshman to a 19-20 year old with a year of JuCo experience, but at least in terms of production he's well below where Harrellson was his first year.

If the crickets at Rupp ever wake up tell them to bust out some Aussie chants! Would be awesome to hear.

Ok. Mr literal.

How else should someone take a direct comparison?
Imo he was just saying white guy looks like white guy, so he must play same.
Trying to be smart ass.
Op seemed to think they are actually comparable players. So what?
Maybe Mr. Knowitall may have been better

And he'll be able to play and sing them. Young man's a keeper for sure. He will contribute to this program in his 2.0 version though sometimes ya know the new versions aren't better. Until they get the new bugs worked out. It is very interesting having two guys from down under, pretty much the exact opposite side of the planet. Never been, but I'd like to.

Nope, pretty much just because they are two tall beefy white guys with square jaws. Basically all superficial

Here's the wind up, and the pitch! Ooo! That Aussie has a mean fastball as he throws the ball off the Ohio State player! That's gonna leave a mark.
Jorts should be Isaacs pitcing coach.
