Will it be next year, probably not. May take 2-3 years. Although it (next year) is possible. You can't teach someone to be 7'1. He has decent touch. While he isn't going to be confused with an elite athletic big man, he is adequately mobile (not like that Gonzaga C from last year). He rebounds well, and can block some shots. He does need to work on his foot work and not foul so much.

Way more talent then Harrellson but Harrellson when he entered the NBA was more ready.
Hump got skills. Jorts got skills and work ethic. We shall see if Hump has that same work ethic. If so Hump will be better....I hope he has the "want to"...
Plus, he's only 14 so lots of time to work on his game.
That being said I wish him the best. If he was worried about playing time and being played over here , then what makes him NBA ready this year?

He was hitting under pressure. He has yet to scratch the surface. If the light comes on he will make it in the league.

Hump has a chance to make a team simply because the league fits his game. He can shoot the jumper, and like KAT wasn't allowed, Cal was not going to let Hump shoot 3s.
Would not surprise me to see Atlanta take him at 60 (last pick in draft). They have the system that fits Hump.

There is a reason that scouts found him to be one of the most impressive prospects UK had at their pro day 2 years ago. The guy is just now 19 with a big frame good footwork that can get even better. He has a great nose for the ball and rebounds well and is a very capable shooter. Have you seen some of the starting bigs in the leaque. If the center that starts for Washington can make it then Hump definitely can.
