Hudson Card another option

Yes that's the two best quarterbacks available at the moment. McNamara being the one with the most stats and proven. He took Michigan to the playoffs.

Really hope we hire Hartline and he brings OSUs offensive playbook and style. Then go get Card or the Michigan QB and let’s roll

With all due respect to you and others...what is it going to take for you and others to realize that until Stoops has a come to Jesus moment with cfb in 2022 , it won't matter what oc he chooses? The offense is going to be on running clock and trying to keep the score close and play the 4th qtr. I'm not looking forward to a new OC choice because l don't think much changes with the philosophy of the offensive scheme.

I don’t have any delusions of Stoops opening the offense wide open like Ole Miss or UT.

I’m talking more play concepts regarding OSUs playbook. Coen was successful here largely bc he adjusted and embraced how effective RPO is in college and letting the QB make plays. You don’t require the tempo portion bc Stoops will never play that brand

Im tired of seeing 1v1 fades to the EZ from the 5 yard line. Unless you have megatron it’s almost a guaranteed wasted down but they love it in the NFL. I’d have to dig the stat up again but it’s a significantly low completion rate even at the NFL level for that playcall…yet it was our go to this year. Inside the 5 you run TE drags, TE speed outs, WR Twirl routes, comeback routes towards the front pylon low and away.

You can still play ball control and have long drives if you embrace the quick/short passing game as an extension of the run game and then take the occasional shot downfield when DBs creep up

Man have you guys watched Hudson Card at Texas?

You have to get past high school ratings. This kid is a good athlete but he is a short throw kind of arm and QB. His numbers in 5 games this year in a throw offense under Sarkesian are pedestrian-ish...not to mention the trash defenses in Big 12 he could not dominate a ton. I'd rather just go with Destin Wade than imagine trying to sell this kid to Key/Barion, etc....

McNamara is eons better than this kid. The Miami kid if he enters is eons better player. Not to mention the Wake Forest QB, and plenty of backup QBs like Levis situation. Let this kid go to UTEP, SMU, etc...which is the calibur of this kid.

I'm good. Watched him play in high school and a couple of times in college. Not sure how he got his ranking, but never was impressed, less so watching him at Texas.

Some of these guys, I do always wonder how they get these rankings. There's a guy that's committed to A&M, a d lineman top 150 guy I watched in person. Got absolutely rocked all game by a freshman tackle.

Exactly everytime I watched card I left thinking how was this guy a 5 star or 4 star recruit. McNamara, van dyke, or the wake forest kid would be better by a mile. Hell there is probably other QBs in the portal that would still be better than card

Then you have guys like McKonkey or however you spell his name who fly well under the radar and don’t get the recruiting attention they deserve, UGA got a steal With him

Very good. I'm about scoring at least 30 ppg by any means necessary. Think I read that WL completed 16 passes for 98 yds against puke orange and 11 of them weren't past the LOS.
