Nice gestures by both in a time where everyone is mad at everyone about everything.
Really cool to see this. Respect to Hubbard.Nice gestures by both in a time where everyone is mad at everyone about everything.
That kid was out of his mind last night.Really cool to see this. Respect to Hubbard.
That was really great to see. Both seem like exceptional young men. It makes me sad to think about Reed leaving for the pros. I'm torn...Personally, I want him to stay because he is so good and he's a great young man. But I want to see him achieve his dreams (and leave Cal for his own good!). It's hard because a player like him doesn't come along very often (being a great player AND loving the University of Kentucky, the name on the front of his jersey and not just the name on the back)! Okay, I've moaned about it enough!!😪
Transfer to UK and a CJ Frederick type season. Because that's usually how our luck goesThey both put on a show. Well done. We need to grab Hubbard in the transfer portal. 😉
Or he turns into Reeves 2.0Transfer to UK and a CJ Frederick type season. Because that's usually how our luck goes
That's awesome! It's hard for most to get beyond the competition long enough to appreciate the talent and skill of the opponent. We usually just get cursing, bird flipping, and crotch grabbing. It's nice to see. And by the way, Sheppard spent a good amount of time complimenting Miss St and the atmosphere at the Hump in his postseason comments.
Well, there will be no advisor on planet earth that would tell Shep to stay another year to go #1 if he's already projected in the top 5 or even lottery. Not one person, and I guarantee not even his mom or dad would advise him to stay. How much money could Shep conceivably make next year with NIL?? Is there a cap? Seems like he could make a crazy amount and try for the number 1 pick in the draft the next year.
Screw you! BLEEP! CURSE! Bird!!That's awesome! It's hard for most to get beyond the competition long enough to appreciate the talent and skill of the opponent. That's being pounded like a drum here. I mean it's beyond obnoxious at this point. PS, I asked him the question, not you.Well, there will be no advisor on planet earth that would tell Shep to stay another year to go #1 if he's already projected in the top 5 or even lottery. Be better if they're on the same team @UKQuite frankly they should both agree to a few rematches next year. I think for Hubbard's sake we need at least two more games between them to make sure these UK wins weren't just flukes.
But I want to see him achieve his dreams (and leave Cal for his own good!).
No more pounded than people claiming he'll be back because "KENTUCKY", "PARENTS", and a plethora of other reasons. That's being pounded like a drum here. I mean it's beyond obnoxious at this point. PS, I asked him the question, not you.
I never said he'd be back. I simply asked HIM a question. Enjoy your night. No more pounded than people claiming he'll be back because "KENTUCKY", "PARENTS", and a plethora of other reasons.
Let's just put it this way, it's more likely he'll be gone than be back.
No. His career goal is to play college ball for Kentucky. /sHas Reed ever stated publicly and openly that his goal is to play in the NBA? I don't remember hearing anything like that from him but maybe he has said that before
We in the postseason already??? lolThat's awesome! It's hard for most to get beyond the competition long enough to appreciate the talent and skill of the opponent. 3-4 million would be double I'd say plus some other NIL stuff he's already doing..How much money could Shep conceivably make next year with NIL?? Is there a cap? Seems like he could make a crazy amount and try for the number 1 pick in the draft the next year.
4,275 points..Hubbard is a bucket getter, I think he is all time leading scorer in Mississippi high school history

Yes, you're right, as that's how it turned out with Reeves, right?Old school good sportsmanship. Love to see that. Both players were fantastic.
Check out the new aerial Flopkowski thread. Dweeb culture. You mean the draft with Cooper Flagg?
I don't see him doing that, or his parents being happy if he did. Put your head, get to work and the rest will take care of itself.Has Reed ever stated publicly and openly that his goal is to play in the NBA? I don't remember hearing anything like that from him but maybe he has said that before
No offense Dave but I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that he’s probably interested in playing in the NBA.Has Reed ever stated publicly and openly that his goal is to play in the NBA? I don't remember hearing anything like that from him but maybe he has said that before
I like to think that the family legacy aspect, fan favorite aspect and the desire to leave his own legacy here could keep him around at least one more season. He will be able to name his price in NIL money. I don’t know if he could match a rookie NBA salary for a first round pick, but he could get damn close. Jeff is a financial advisor now, so he also has that going for him. He may become his Dad’s biggest client.Has Reed ever stated publicly and openly that his goal is to play in the NBA? Ha! I meant post-game. Now that's a typo. Or maybe a brain fart! 🤣We in the postseason already??? lol
Sorry but all those dudes were talented and would have went regardless even if they were playing for Vanderbilt. But I would rather have a 1/3 of that list for more championships. I don’t care what these guys do in the NBALeave Cal for his own good? Yeah, Cal never puts guards into the NBA who become successful.

This is loyalty. When fans are this loyal to players it’s easy to understand why fans are so mad about Shaedon Sharpe not being… loyal.Sorry but all those dudes were talented and would have went regardless even if they were playing for Vanderbilt.
