How much money would you gamble that UK don't lose this season

Last night was an eye opener. I don't think I would bet much. That said and I could see UK rolling for a while now after the close call after the long layoff.

Prefer to spectate than speculate. I had given it thought when the odds were better. ($100). Lack of knowledge on how to bet safely on a keyboard was nagging excuse not to do it..

I JUST LAID DOWN A COOL G ON 40-0 DADDY-O AND IMA GONNA LET IT RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE........

Honestly if I knew that Cal was going to commit to the platoon system and make full use of his bench (allowing players to go all out defensively the entire game) and push the pace, I'd be willing to put $250 on them going undefeated.

But if he intends to cut the rotation down and start allowing the opposition to control the pace (and thus stay in the game longer), then I expect UK will lose fairly soon.

Really, it just depends on the odds. If I got 20 to one I'd be borrowing money. At less than those odds I don't see the value in the bet.

...the Safer bet is that Ole Miss loses badly at home to USC jr in their next outing.

Anything can happen on any night and especially on the road in the SEC. No thanks, I would pass on that bet.

I am kind of on the fence, on one side we almost lost and that obviously makes going undefeated seem pretty close to impossible. but on the other i don't see any teams playing like ole miss did last night coupled with us playing horrible and we still win? and it took that much effort and shear luck to only ALMOST beat us? idk i still think we are very very good and it showed.

Not a dime, because it wont happen. Way to many people just already wrote UK in to be undefeated by tournament time. We will lose a game, maybe 2. Last night we played like we expected the other team to roll over after that 12-0 lead and when they didnt I think it caught a bunch of our guys off guard because everyone else has laid down for them pretty much.

This answers the thread question about as well as one could. It's cool to fantansize about an undefeated season but last night brought some back into reality, UK will probably lose two games. Let's just let them prepare for a chance to go 6-0 in tournament play.

The mob mentality on this board is hilarious. Months ago people weren't allowed to even say the words "undefeated" and "season" anywhere close to each other. All it took was the media saying it over and over and now it's half ass expected. It's like no one can think for themselves anymore.

But as to the topic, I said when it wasn't popular that going undefeated wasn't some insane concept, and it's something cal has stated he'd love to do. What was EVER wrong with someone thinking a team this deep and talented might to some incredible things? Having said that I wouldn't bet much unless there were lots of incentive. Neee the odds to pay off well. And that's mainly because at this point, I don't see it happening.

Depends, are the odds similar to the odds someone uses incorrect grammar in a subject line?

First of all I don't bet but hypothetically speaking, if someone gave me decent odds I might put $20 or something small on going undefeated through the regular season. Even then that would feel like a stretch. To bet that we win out until april 2 or whatever, eh. no thanks. That would be better with your heart not your head...pretty sure that is unwise.

None. I don't see us going undefeated, but carry on talking about it all you like.

That is my thinking too.
Poy's injury will hurt us more than many think, because it makes the platoon system less likely to be sustained.
On top of our talent, our depth and ability to wear out/down teams was/is a big advantage if we employ it.

I bet $100 at 35-1 before season started, I know it's not likely but I loved the odds, took a chance.

Amazing how quickly we forget last year. I obviously hope I'm wrong but I don't see an undefeated season. We almost lost our SEC opener AT HOME just two days ago. We are great, and have the potential to be one of the greatest teams ever even with a loss, but I don't see us finishing the season unscathed. Just too many good teams out to get us. We'll fall at some point, but come March we will be one of the only teams that nobody wants to see in their bracket.

I see an undefeated season. I could see one conference tournament loss where Cal basically, tanks it but I definitely think its possible. If any team could do it in the modern era, its this team.

I don't give a crap what Ole Miss did. They played their A+ game, Kentucky played their C- game and still won.
