I was at a UK vs Arkansas baseball game and when Arkansas took the lead their fans started chanting “We Got Cal !” . We just started laughing. Some fans yelled back “ You can have him “ .

I was there too. Arkansas fans were obnoxious. Only to lose the series lol
I was surprised at how many came to Lexington for a baseball game.
When you know more than the teacher, it is time to move on.
It is obvious that at least one of Cal's fans still doesn't get it. He can't seem to defend Cal enough. I can assure you that sorry bleep, bleep and bleep was trying to hurt UK. After having Z for one season, Cal was certainly no fan of his. The same could be said about a couple of other players. He took them to hurt UK. You are free to believe whatever you choose.

I imagine as much fun as other teams fans were the last few years watching CCC coach here at Kentucky. Just much, much, more fun because ... well .... they're really losing badly.
I'd just as soon see him move on from the SEC though. It's gonna suck for him to continually lose to Kentucky now.

Hope he coaches for his full contract. Let all of the hog fans see how bad of a coach he is. In fact how bad the entire staff is.

Enjoyable seeing an actual coach making adjustments, designing plays, and actually complete a sentence. Also someone that appreciates the fans instead of insulting them.

After 5 unacceptable years, the narrative became "Kentucky will only be happy with a Final 4 every year. " Which is false. And you really can't even argue that since we hadn't seen the 2nd weekend of the tournament since 2019.
Arkansas fans thought we ran Calipari out of town because we have unrealistic expectations. They thought Calipari was the victim. They talked all that smack.
Now they'll be unranked come Monday. They're getting live through the post-game press conferences. "Well I gotta go watch Little House on the prairie." "I just wanna go see my dog." Yesterday, they learned that Cal didn't think they needed a shoot around before playing the #1 team in the country. The result? A 24 point loss.
It's like a guy bragging about stealing your wife who was super hot in high school, but now she's way less hot and cheats on you every chance she gets. Now he's upset he's getting cheated on even though you warned him over and over.

I have never liked Arkansas. I hope they lose every game.
It just makes me appreciate Pope more. Cal's glory days are behind him, I don't wish him any ill will. But I can't bring myself to care one bit about Arkansas basketball.

I don’t see many coaches being able to out think or scheme him. Really cool having someone with his intellect and drive running the program.
If he doesn't retire, he has no choice but to keep coaching there because no one else will want him after seeing that it is him and not UK.
Been LMAO everytime he throws his arms up and points at one of his players after giving up yet another wide open 3...and when they continue to get beat over and over for backdoor layups and dunks.
It is good seeing a coach who understands why he was hired. It wasn't to make generational changes in the lives of young men.

I do think Ark is a train wreck in the making but 10/3 with getting their butts kicked at number one team in the nations home court isn't train wreck yet. We got our butts kicked at Clemson. We got our butts kicked on a neutral court by Ohio State and lost by 20. both teams were unranked when we lost to them. When Cal loses five or six in a row in the SEC, that's a train wreck.
Calipari was never here to be a wildcat. Most people know this by now, but I see a few still can't see it.
That guy is a massive narcissist, he put himself ahead of the program. It wasn't UK, it was Cal university and he turned into Cal's NBA training camp where individual goals and accomplishments matter.

You certainly make good points, but what Arkansas doesn't have, is 3 wins over top 10 teams and after watching Arkansas play, we know how it's going to end. I mean c'mon, you know how it's going to end, right?
I don’t think getting beat by twenty something by Tennessee is what Tyson and other boosters had in mind. They were supposed to have to good a roster for that with those high school all Americans and transfers and shooters.

I don’t really think about Ark more than any other SEC team. I am not obsessed with our former coach. I prefer to focus on the present and the future of UK basketball.
So if I were to rank in order who I most enjoy seeing lose, it would go Duke, UNC (those first 2 are interchangeable, but way ahead of the rest), then UT, KU, UConn, UCLA, UL, Alabama, Ark, Florida, Auburn.

This is a very good point. Cal got the guys he wanted. He took most of the recruits he had at UK, he added accomplished veterans in Aidoo, Brazille and Davis and he got Wagner, Z and Ado Thierro (who is a stud 4).
Fland is an NBA talent that is a 3 level scorer right now, so there are no excuses, he got his pick of the litter and Quaintance wasn't going to help much this year, so losing him was probably a plus.
Arkansas paid for a HOF coach that was supposed to have the ability to kill it right out of the gate. They have to realize now that they're investment gamble was a bad idea.
Personally, I don’t hate the man. I’ve never met him. But no one wants to see their ex marry-up. I hope he loses every game, retires, takes his spot on college Gameday, and then one day returns to rupp to a hero’s welcome like Rick just did.
He was never a Wildcat. He was all about Cal university. I think he actually despised what UK represented, so after he got here, he was all about making UK a players' first university. He basically hijacked the program and turned it into a players' first NBA farm team.
He feels the way he did last year about Z. He hates the fact that he isn't a back to the basket lost post player. It means very little to Cal that Z's skillset is more of a faceup 3-point shooting 7-footer.
I've said since last year I think Z was incredibly overrated. He had an incredible debut last year, but that was like a 15 minute stretch. Remove that stretch and he wasn't even average, he was downright bad.
For all the complaining about Z following Cal because he would have fit in with Pope, if I were to put money on it I'd bet Pope didn't even want him. Who would he really have stolen minutes from this year?
He would kill it in this system! Dude can pass and shoot the 3. He doesn’t fit in Cals system cause he wants his bigs in the paint. And he would have stolen minutes from Garrison and probably Carr cause he could play that spot as well in Popes system.
Not saying I’d trade him now cause I LOVE this team. And maybe Pope didn’t want to pay what he was asking, because I pretty sure that they did talk before he chose Arkansas. But dude totally fits Popes system just as much as he doesn’t fit Cals.
Everyone on this team can already pass and shoot the 3, Z would just be redundant. Do we really need a charmin soft post player who can't play defense or rebound? Z also has zero post moves and Carr can be silky smooth down in the post to get layups when we need him to.
Meh, I’m among those who don’t care. CBP is gone from Lexington (long overdue to many) and I’m satisfied with that. But it appears he’s living rent free in the heads of a lot of RR posters.
