How much does that make up for the misses?

I'd take Murray over Newman all day, every day. The only misses that hurt were Diallo and Brown.

I agree with this. I didn't like Newman. I think Diallo would have been great to get and Brown could be if he doesn't start out like Wiggins who was passive early and I can see Brown doing that. I actually wanted Ingram over Brown but that wasn't happening.

No, he's not...very good but not better than a few guys we missed

For what we need, I completely disagree with you.

The only argument I could really see is Jaylen Brown or Brandon Ingram. Brown would give us a true SF and slasher. Same with Ingram, only a better shooter.

With that said, I think Murray fits our needs more. At 6'5", he's plenty big enough to guard college 3s. He's a better shooter than Brown and has a better body than Ingram.

I think Murray is more ready to play college ball now than Ingram. I wonder if Ingram will have similar issues as a college freshman as Justin Jackson and Tayshaun Prince- who were both solid but weren't ready for the physicality.

Diallo's motor is nonstop. Love kids like that.

I, also, never considered Ingram a possibility so it didn't hurt as much when he went to dook. Brown should have been a Wildcat.

I don't even think about what could have been anymore. I'm totally happy with our team as is. JM completed the combination.
Go Big Blue and long live coach Cal.
