Maybe Oweh. Maybe a healthy Carr but not convinced even he would. The others are all just 1 dimensional in they can hit wide open 3's but can't play a lick of defense. A couple who are known for their defense but have no offense.

We don't have a single player that would start for Auburn, Florida, Alabama, and TN. Not because they are not good players on offense but none are good enough defensively. It is not close, we do not have a single player that Bruce Pearl or Rick Barnes would give any minutes to because of their defense.
Pretty sure UK beat one of those teams already
Hs nothing to do with the fact we beat one, the statement was who would start on another team. I still say we have not one player that would start for Florida and I know we beat them. We out scored them 106 to 100. Where was the defense? Do you think Pearl or Barnes would start a single player on our team No way! I love our team but hate our defense and that all goes back to lack of quickness & speed. We are a slow slow team, actually we don't have one quick player on the roster. Just like today if you noticed, Vandy had several QUICK kids and they were the reason we lost.
Overreaction imo. Oweh, Butler, Carr can play and start for anyone.
Neither of those three could start for the four teams I mentioned. Their offense would NOT offset their defense limitations. Defense wins is both football & basketball. If we had Auburn or TN defense we would be a final four threat. Sadly, we don't. We may be the worst defensive team in SEC and with the best offense, we are going to be middle of the pack in conference.
What is your opinion? Do you honestly think anyone could start for Auburn or TN? Be serious and honest, not BS. I am making my decision based on two coaches who don't expect good defense, but demand it.
You do know that Butler and Oweh are considered very good defenders don't you?
It's true. Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee only start players who are immune to injury.
Without talking about your premise, it is true that this team has a lack of quickness across the board and it is huge problem that ultimately can't always be overcome. Only with great offense and shooting!
I think they're capable of being good defensively, but the want and enforcement by the coaching staff doesn't appear to be there.
