How many more years will they coach?

Roy is the only one that looks close to it to me. The other two are setting up for a Weekend at Bernie's finish.....

I honestly think Pitino and Roy are waiting for their NCAA things to play out. They know the school will have a hard time attracting a decent coach with that hanging over their heads but I think each investigation has taken a toll on both of those guys and they're ready to hang it up. The sooner these things get handled the sooner they jet. So I'm guessing a couple years each for both because I don't think the punishment, if any will go longer than that. I think K is just chasing another title before he hangs it up. I do think he's 4 years tops though. If he hasn't won another in that span he's out. Cal will coach longer than any of them for sure. And I honestly think when K retires Cal will get a couple more pretty easy titles leaving Self and Miller to fight over Cals leftovers.

No idea about Pitino.

Roy is done in a few years.

K has hinted that 2018 is it for him, was in an article last summer I believe. I doubt he finishes until he makes a serious run at another title. K is in it for K, during the end he will be trying to get everyone to return for one last "run".

This looks about right. Pitino will stay til he's in a wheelchair to try to and win as many or more at UL as Cal wins at UK. K has one foot out the door and is gone as soon as things aren't perfect for HIM and Roy's health is often in question over on the sidelines so I'll be shocked if he goes more than 3.

Pitino, probably 2 or 3 more, unless syphilis eats his brain out first.

K, considering his age & health, I've got a feeling this coming season will be his last.

Roy, probably 5 or 6 more. I mean he's got a good gig going on down there. He never has to worry about any of his players being academically ineligible as long as they don't have to pass legitimate college courses. So I don't see Roy boy going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm kinda surprised Roy didn't hang it up after this year.

Pitino will coach until they kick him out the door
K - 3 years....has had health issues but not quite ready yet
Roy - 2 years

Pitino will stay as long as he can(so 15 seconds is in play)but the NCAA issue could force his hand,I think how that plays out is a real wild card in his case.

K- I think this year could be it ,maybe one more but no longer than that

Roy- probably will stay 3 or 4 more years, his health could be a factor and send him home more quickly. He will try to outlast this NCAA thing by a year or so

I find it interesting that 2 of the three have major NCAA issues hanging over their programs and the issues have been there so long that everyone in the mainstream media has stopped talking about them. When (if) the issues come to a head it is a possible game changer for them

honestly wouldnt be surprised if pimptino and roy pull a paterno and dont make it long after they retire. seem like they value their lives around the spotlight

k will stay involved and be alright but pimptino..nut uh

No time soon. Can't give up the power or adulation. Hard to imagine being 65-70 years old with all the money in the world and spending your free time in gyms watching 17-18 year old kids and begging them to come play for you.

Pitino is going to be that guy that way overstays his welcome. Will have to be pushed out when he's 75 and he'll cry about how there's just not any loyalty in the world anymore. Will probably even actively work to sabotage the guy who replaces him out of spite when Louisville doesn't hire his son Dick.

Plus he'll look like an embalmed corpse

I think Roy has been hoping to out last coach K so that he can dominate the ACC for a few years and have the limelight all to himself. That doesn't seem to be working out so well. Pitino will look worse than Ray Meyer's did when he retired from DePaul in the 80's. My question is how do today's players relate to these relics? I guess with Pitino it's easy, just bring in some hookers in to the dorms.
