Your fans should be ashamed. You beat the #14 team in the country on your home court, same UK team that has lost to 3 other bad teams and you guts storm the court? Seriously?
I think it's gonna be funny when we get the 5 seed and end up in the Louisville region and get to play a regional semi final against a 1 seed at home lol
I think we have a chance at being tied for 2nd or 3rd in the sec reg. season......But...we've folded several games so far when an opponent brings their best effort. I hope we make it to the final sec tourny game but would not be surprised if we fall short. the sec is tougher this year. As far as ncaa tourney, man......an 8 or 9 seed can make it just as far as a 1 seed........ and most the time 1 seeds get a loss in the tourney......so take it for what its worth.
What do I get if we don't do those things? lol jk. I will gladly pony up because it would mean we do very well.

Today was a B A D loss - which is why it's a bad idea to make an assessment right now. Were you as hopeless on the days we played Duke or Louisville or Ole Miss or Bama?
It's true we can lose to anyone on the road (we all knew it, now we have proof!). But most of the comments I'm seeing assume the "real UK" is the one we saw today.
Why is that?
If we lose a key player to injury, ala Noel.....or if the team in its youth just falls apart under the pressure and weight of expectations.....then, yeah, all is lost. But we're not there yet.
Never hopeless. Not even in my post. Always realistic. We have several tough road games coming up. I think we drop several of them, not all but we won't break even on the remaining road schedule imo.
I honestly don't see this Cats team winning any of those! Each of those teams is >>> Auburn. I did not see any reason for optimism today!!!!!

If we make it past our first 10-14 seed, we might take down a 2-3 seed in an impressive victory, only to lose to another 10-14 seed on an upset run. I can really see that scenario unfolding.

We're 13-4. Have 13 conference games + KU left. 7 home games - we won't lose any of those. So that's 20 wins.
On the other hand, can't see any way we win at KU or A&M, no matter which version of this team shows up. So that's 20-6, with 5 other road games: UT, SC, Florida, Vandy and Arkansas. Do we lose all 5 of those?

Yeah but what if we win @Ku or @ aTm? It is possible. This team is at least showing now that they CAN play with poise on the road unlike the first 3 losses where we looked like a HS squad.
This team has shown two things for sure. They can beat anyone but they can also lose to anyone. If the whole team plays with 100% effort throughout the game they can beat really good teams.

First win over a ranked team since 2009, first win over UK since 2000. No student at that game could remember a wn over UK (they were between 2 and 6 when it happened). Yeah, they rushed. Our football fans would have rushed in the same scenario
After loosing to Auburn I'd say we could loose every one of those road games. The truth is.. Who knows how this team is gonna respond to the Auburn loss. When you look at our roster the pieces are there. It's funny because Cal's motto all year has been "Play to your potential" One thing that is a definite, opposing teams have got to smell blood. Ky better be ready to fight or this season good end in disaster.
Jeff, I agree with you now. I certainly feel more optimistic than 10 days ago! We may lose @Kansas but they are not invincible. The home cooking will hurt us I am sure!!!!
You are right - no question you are right! But I am weak and very emotional! Losing to AU was too much for my little brain to handle. I will try to be stronger - I promise!!!!
