Still have to go to:
Arkansas
KU
UT
USC
TAM
Vandy
UF

Also LSU at home is not a gimme. They are not a good match up for us.

I think 5 more regular season losses minimum, could be 7 if we can't beat Arkansas and UT. Another loss in SECT. So I'll say 6 more losses. That would mean a 10 loss team and a 8-9 seed imo.

Today was a B A D loss.

Well, you answered your own question with that list. There's seven losses right there. We may pull an upset in one of them, but I certainly wouldn't count on it.

We also don't play SC or A&M at home, which means we probably won't add another "quality" win all year. 11 loses, no quality win since December. Better make the final of the SEC tourney, or it's NIT bound.

We will be lucky to make the tournament if we keep playing like we did today. Give credit to auburn, though, they outplayed us.

Kansas at 8 loses last season was a two seed, Oklahoma had 10 loses as a 3 seed. North Carolina had 11 loses and was still a four seed, Baylor with 9 loses was a 3 seed. Kentucky should be in the 3-5 range worst case right now barring a devastating injury.

6-7 more losses and we get a 8-9 seed. This team will make the tournament and lose in the opening round.

Come on guys. You're not that bad. Lost to a team that hit everything out of their bottom. You'll lose 3 or 4 more tops. Look at history 8 losses is 4 or 5 seed That is where you will be. You beat ul and puke. And will beat more good teams. 90% of fans of other teams would take your team this year.

At least 6 more losses, probably 7-8 more and a NIT appearance.

Not going to have the resume or quality wins to make NCAA tourney.

Possibly 12 or 13 losses. Then lose in second round of SEC tourney and get a NIT bid. Could we turn things around, sure why not but I think 20-11 is more likely. What are your predictions?

I'm guessing convincing losses at KU and aTm are givens, the rest of the road games are 50/50.

I'll guess we'll lose four more in the regular season and once in the SEC-T for nine losses heading into a 7-10 seed.

Only optimist is the rival fan. I am certainly not a sunshine pumper, but do not put too much stock in today's game. Auburn played out of their minds and hit everything they threw up. This team is not elite. They will not win it all this year. But, they will without a doubt make the tourney and who knows from there. I say 4-5 more losses, finish reg season with 8-9 losses. End up a 6-7 seed.

Do you put any stock in the losses to UCLA, Ohio State and LSU -- all teams that range from the bubble to no chance of making the NCAA? At some point, we have to quit with the other team played "out of their mind" excuse, and start realizing they are playing that way against us because we aren't very good. When you consistently make teams look better than they are, the issue is probably you, not them.

As I clearly said, this team is not elite. They have had some bad losses, today included. However, Auburn shot 50% from three today and our defense was not bad. Sometimes you just run into a team that plays out of their minds.

Now, the UCLA, OSU & LSU games were a different story. I never used the played out of their mind excuse for those games. UK just played like crap. All three games were almost unbearable to watch. All I am saying is that along with the bad losses, this team also has played snd won against some good teams. Temper expectations if you need to, this is not a Final Four team. However, I do not think we are going to finish the season 15-17 as some are proclaiming after this loss.

Tell you what, since you are convinced this team is NIT bound, let's revisit at the end of the season and I will eat all the crow you want if you are right. If not, then I will take the opportunity to remind you that this team is not quite as bad as some are rushing to proclaim. Just our opinions here of course.

I'm a masochist . What can I say. No good way to spin this crap loss to a really bad team.

All 4 losses have been to bad teams. I love our guys, all seem to be great kids. But, they are not smart "basketball" players, make way too many dumb basketball plays. We play 3 against 5 most of the game, on offense.

Cannot disagree here. All the losses were to bad teams. And some of the guys just make bone headed mistakes. Murray crosses the end line and just throwing stuff up second half. Lee made some silly fouls. It is frustrating as hell that'd for sure.

Auburn played out of their minds and hit everything they threw up.

We only shot 38% for the game and 46% from 3-point land. The 3-point percentage was high, but we lead the league in 3-pt percentage so it's not that out of character for us to drain those.

Earlier....actually after the EKU "win"....I said this was a ten loss team. That's looking really optimistic today. As someone above wrote, we've had 3 out of 4 miserable regular seasons, so, I don't know how we all didn't see this coming, even in the preseason.

Ky has three quality wins already. What are you yapping on about?

May have bad losses to go with them but the key is quality wins.

We can likely forget Louisville and St Louis as well.

Oh yeah, banking in a 30 footer with a hand in your face is common I'm sure. Not to mention you guys were missing several starters. If you played this way every game you wouldn't have 8 losses.

Well, Canty has been hitting treys from the parking lot all year with people in his face. But take that one away, we're still the best 3-point shooting team in the league. And we still only shot 38% overall. Our issue is with inside game, not 3 point shooting.

4 more losses in regular season - If win SEC tournament so 8 total losses and #4 seed and if lose in SEC tournament 9 total losses and between #5-#6 seed pending on how far they go.

If UK plays to their potential they win by 20. AU is one dimensional but for some reason our frontcourt players lose their grit when they leave lexington. See you in the SECT.
