They got any All americans? Got any NPOY guys? Got any 5 stars? Is Stack making 9 million a year?

Beat our asses at Rupp and in Nashville where we dominated the stands.

F this guy

Another huge group of UK fans wasted their money going to Nashville and London only to hear Cal talk down to the fans.

Sick and damn tired of getting punked by teams while Kentucky has CCC on the sidelines getting outcoached routinely with rosters stacked with 5 star and 4 star recruits. Vastly underachieved this season with the reigning National Player of the Year returning. Unacceptable and this is the best money can buy. I don't feel bad for the fans that waste the money knowing good damn and well this team was going to lose. It's inevitable and will just keep happening with CCC for the next 7 years. Cal Boys keep dreaming about next year and how it's all going to change. You're delusional and not true UK fans to accept such mediocrity. Fed up of this horseshit.

When your coach has to have a team full of future NBA all stars to win college games, he's not much of a coach, he’s just a guy that rolls the balls out and acts like an agent.

Problem is, he can't get that level of talent without Orlando and when he gets it, he still can't win.

1 title is all he will ever have and he needed a generational talent and an NBA lockout to do it.

He's a huge fraud.

IMO the problem is Cowiprairie's belief that talented athletes; no matter their age, experience, or basketball abilities, will triumph over less talented experienced basketball teams.

Success to him is not determined by experience, a balanced roster of freshmen thru seniors, a blend of player skills but mainly athletes who have the measurables. Some may read this and say that we have both talent and experience on this year's team and that would be correct. However, I only think we have (1) player that has been at UK for 3 years (Toppin), 2 years (Wheeler, Oscar, Collins, Ware) with the rest being 1 year freshman or transfers. There is little roster continuity from year to year.

Some players have a skill (shooting) or a combination of skills (shooting, rebounding, basketball IQ). Others may not have good basketball skills but are athletic and have great measurables (height, strength, wingspan, jumping ability). Mr. Prairie thinks he can teach basketball skills to the athlete, since you cannot teach a basketball player to be an athlete. Look at UL this year - still have great athletes but few basketball players. CCC also believes the freshman 5 star is better than the junior 3/4 star. Probably the case with Lew Alcindor, Anthony Davis, Jamal Mashburn) but that list is very short.

With 13 scholarships available, I think you can have a couple of great athletes that have the potential to become good/great basketball players. You also can have a few players that may only have one skill (great shooter- Cameron Mills, shot blocker, rebounder etc). However, the other 7-9 players need to be all around basketball players that may have one skill that is outstanding but have the other skills at least to a college level proficiency.

COW will not change his philosophy and he is not a great basketball teacher of fundamentals, X's and O's, nor a good game coach. I believe the coach left a few years ago - John Robic. CCC will get next year, unless he chooses to leave, but don't bet on a freshman core to produce any better results.
