Don't think a 1 loss team when that loss in Power 5 conference champion againt a team they have beaten once in Regular season keep TCU out over a 2 loss Bama team
What really irks me is with USCs choke job the asses are back in. tOSU has beat a grand total of nobody major and get to play for a title. Seriously. 9 of their games were unranked. What manure.

TCU has as many Top 25 wins as Alabama does and actually beat their common opponent by more than Alabama did. How would you justify moving two-loss Alabama ahead of them?
A road game against an SEC team with 35 degree temps and Brad White on the other sideline is a different creature than a playoff game in a controlled environment with a PAC 12 team.
Uga actually will care about the OSU and Michigan games and bring their A game.
I think he wanted to get ahead and then run out the clock. When you are playing against a coach who also wants to run the clock out, you don't get big blowouts.
If Alabama gets in at #4, they beat Georgia. Saban has proven it too many times with that much time to prepare

Would’ve preferred 8 because 12 is ridiculous but it’s better than what we’ve had. I just think it makes the regular season meaningless for the power 5 teams.
Think it would be a pretty easy call to put Alabama in over Tennessee, Vols got smacked twice and Alabama lost on a last second FG and once in OT. If the UT losses were close maybe the head-to-head comes into play but they never had a chance in either of their defeats. Plus the game was in Knoxville, that was an advantage UT vs neutral site games in the playoff.

Well 12 teams gives KY an outside shot to make it in which I’m all in favor of. 12 seems about right to me but hope it never goes higher then that. 16 would be ridiculous.
12 is merely the next intermediate step. It will be 16 eventually.

Much as I hate that, to be honest TCU and Southern Cal aren't as good as Ohio state and Alabama.

You're replying to someone who said TCU was in whether they won or lost today. They DON'T justify moving Alabama ahead, the post you replied to explained why TCU stays ahead of Alabama.
