Would Cal get with two more championships in say, the next three years? (UK has been slicked out of one or two they could have had but for whatever reason they didn't make it to the end.) UK is due for some breaks. If Cal has three championships how long after his last one would UK fans start calling for his retirement? Just curious...(I know if Cal didn't win three out of three some would want him gone.)

some fans..

Some geniuses on here think he should win it every year.

I'm one of these geniuses! I'm the worst UK fan on the planet. If they don't win it every year, then I'm pissed and I hate all the players. The only NBA players that played here that I like are the ones off the 2012 team. Considering our recruiting, I truly believe that we should win it this year and next.

Why should we be favored against Duke, UNC, Kansas, Arizona, UCLA squads who've had squads over the past few years which are the same or not far off in terms of five stars on the roster, but in a mix of classes instead of all freshmen?

That is, unless you hold Cal to a higher standard than the other top flight coaches.

I think you've covered almost all of the Cal haters talking points right there.

If he won 2 in the next 3 years he should get a pass until Hell is due to freeze over:D

We are Kentucky. If we would have beaten UNC and there was a very good chance that we win it all. Besides 2013 and maybe 2016, we should have won it all. Btw, I love Cal. I love recruiting. I just hate to lose.

Firing Cal will 100% never be an option. He is the best at what he does and puts us in a position to win every single year. We are a few baskets away from having another 1-2 championships with him. Things just don't workout the way we want all the time. But if Mitch B does ONE thing the rest of his life, please let it be that he never allows Cal to go anywhere else.

As long as he is putting us in position to win it I am happy. Not Cal's fault Kanter was ruled ineligible in 11, not Cal's fault WCS gets hurt in 14, not Cal's fault Poy gets hurt in 15. Hell we were one really poorly officiated game from most likely winning it all this past season. Now I know none of those things Guarantee a title although I think with Poythress on Decker in 15 we win it all and go 40 and 0. Still though if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we all would have a merry christmas.

If he keeps getting the general results he's getting, we'd be asinine to make him leave before he's damn well ready

He'd be here until he leaves if he did that. Honestly I think he is here until he leaves now. I don't see him coaching here until 70-ish like Coach K at Duke though. I think he will coach until Brad graduates and then maybe leave or retire/do something else.

After the 30 on 30 special I feel like we have Cal until he passes UCLA. And he feels like he is changing peoples lives. He still has the competitive fire. He wins 3 or 4 more titles and silly as that sounds we really are some bad luck and some shady officiating away from having 10 now. All within 7 years

I'm fine if he coaches UK until the day he dies. And let him live to be 120!!!!!! Dead serious too lol. Guy is a master.

Lolololol if he wins 2 of the next three, he'll basically have a lifetime pass barring a huge collapse. Three titles in the span of a decade would be one of the top 5 runs of all time for a coach.
