How Excited are you About Next Season - Poll?

I think next season will be fun but we all know the ceiling is limited due to the coach
I think it will be painful. Again. Like pulling teeth through the regular season. Then hoping for a miracle to win a couple of game in both tourney.
If the last choice were next to no excitement I would pick that. I have interest.
My sentiments as well.
I was super excited before this year started but after the drama, terrible losses and quick exit from the Tourney, I feel nothing will change and we'll be sitting here AGAIN wondering where do we go from here...Hope the hell I'm wrong.
I'd like to fall asleep and wake up when Cal is gone.

I remember a time when each and every game was an event. Not that way anymore. It’s been a long time since I was excited about a UK basketball game. I don’t see anything changing after the crap I have been to and watched for the past few seasons. It’s abysmal, and I’m full of disdain for this coaching staff. If I had a lot of money, I would bet that little changes next year. I hope it does. I hope the weather players coming in make a new road. The leaders of this program will find a way to screw it up even if the players plowed a new road! Wait and see. 😞
Yeah, I never played football but I like the atmosphere and the improvements that Stoops has made over the years. He's trending upward, I dunno about Coach Cal though.

I’m not really excited because I think our goal should b to Win the NCAA every year and you cannot do that with freshman in the current portal system. More mature players with experience have too great an advantage .
We will see some good players on the way to their pro career . Maybe make the top 32 . Ok year but not in any way what UK basketball is all about ( or I should say should b all about . )

When does the revenge tour start? I've been hearing that for the last 3 years...guess it's an ongoing Phenomenon 😞

I’ll never be too excited as long as JC sets on our sidelines . Never .
It’s hard to get hyped up for next season because Cal’s track record won’t allow me too.
This is crazy. How can any real fan say they aren't excited about watching their team play?
Maybe I'm jaded because I have suffered through the Bucs here in Tampa being so bad for so long, but I have never, EVER, not been excited for a Kentucky basketball season to start.
Not sure how anyone can be a true fan if they can't stick with their team and be excited about them through the ups and downs.
Someone saying they have "No interest" just isn't a real fan IMO. Bandwagon at best.

It is UK basketball. I cannot help but to be excited a little bit. Have no faith though.
Real fans are becoming fair weather fans by the numbers....

As a lifelong Bengals fan I know what you are saying. The thing is with UK basketball I've usually known we were going to be good. Right now this feels like end of Tubb and BCG years but with more talented players.
I am still excited because with a new year comes a fresh start...but realistically I think we are going to struggle, especially early.
I think that's the thing- there is a big difference (in my mind) between having low expectations, vs. just not even being excited to watch your team compete.
Even through the BCG years, I was excited as hell and would count down until the season tipped off.
Can't comprehend people that feel differently.
That being said, maybe I am also an optimist but I actually think next season has all sorts of potential.
Sounds like about everyone is gone and Dillingham isn't coming.But Cal is going after a trash player like Puff Johnson in the portal.Hard to be excited.
I would be more excited if Cal was gone, as long as he is there and this is a loaded class coming in but they are freshmen and most will be good pros but as long as Cal is here just another average season.
Because y’all hyped up our last two teams and look where it has got us.
I’m pumped about next year. Got an appointment with my tattoo artist to turn my 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 40-0 tattoo into a 2024 40-0 tattoo. Thats how confident I am in next year.
Who is "y'all" exactly? Didn't know I was a media member out there hyping up Kentucky with my articles and all that.
I'll be more excited once football is over. Its football season now and I'm excited for that most. Once it gets closer to basketball season I'll be really excited again.
I will always have interest in UK and love UK. The crap part is Cal is still the head coach so I’m not excited at all about that whole situation because he won’t change a damn thing!
