The SEC has had some bad years, but I don't think it was ever as bad as the current ACC....I think maybe the only time it was that bad was like 2013 when the league was bad combined with our Nerlens team making it worse...
I was looking on Kenpom's conference ratings....
-The SEC was clearly the top league
-The ACC was fifth
The ACC is closer in ratings to the Mountain West, WCC, A10, CUSA, AAC, Missouri Valley, Big West, Southern Conference, and Ivy League.....than they are to the SEC in Kenpoms conference ratings.
-Top 50 teams in the ACC? Only 4 teams.
-ACC teams rated 70 or worse? 12 teams.
-ACC teams ranked 100 or worse? 7 teams.
I mean compared to the SEC/B12/B1G, the ACC is a mid-major conference.
